Hands down you're the best tutorial expert in the whole of UA-cam and I thoroughly love your videos and there's a lot of directions which you cover and not just speed it like many other youtubers.. You explain every single detail and that's why I extremely love it.. ❤️ Keep it up..
Just what I needed. Long time user of Adobe products but for some reason, never got deep into Illustrator, and I'm a traditional illustrator!!! I guess it just depends on what you're doing most of the time. For me, it's been heavy retouching with PS and now UI design with Sketch. I now have to dive back into Illustrator and found my old skills seriously lacking, so this was perfect. Love your tuts. Thanks.
Gosh, it was amazing! Let me tell you, you are a prefect teacher! You must know I never used AI before! Today I looked for an AI tutorial (it was not for purpose that I picked out this one, I just wanted to start to learn something in AI) well I watched the first half of the video and after it I stopped and started to do it all on my own.. and it worked! I didn't even had to peek into the video! So a big thank you!!
Thank you Hailie, that's so great to hear! When teaching it's difficult as I'm attempting to teach people with varying experience levels, so I'm super happy you (as a first time Illustrator user) found this video easy to follow and enjoyed it :)
Trust me it was easy and fun! I bet it's hard to teach like this, but you are on a good way.. And for me it wasn't bad thing that the video is not just 5 minute long.. I can imagine that for somebody can who already handle AI it's slower, but you know what? I work with PS for 14 years now (learned as autodidact) but if I watch a video today - for example one of yours - I'm sure I can learn new things from every single video. So, maybe its slower a bit for somebody, but if they take the time to watch the whole video, maybe they learn something new, maybe an easier way to do something. (hope you can understand, sorry my English is poor)
Im so happy that i found you bro , im starting with course from april for graphic designer im kinda scared but i hope i will learn a lot of stuff from you tutorials ! keep up the good work !
hey Dansky, just got my hands on Adobe Illustrator to make a logo for my channel. Came up with something like this(my current logo) after watching this video. Your tutorials are amazing. Keep shining bro.
I'm loving all of your videos. I went to school for graphic design back in 2009 and changed careers shortly after. I've decided to get back into it and all of your videos have been so helpful and are making me realize that I truly am capable of a career in design. So thank you for that! side note:when I went to get rid of my stroke and fill in my gradient I notice that there are white gaps between my shapes. I actually notice this a lot when I am working in illustrator and wondering if you could tell me what it is that I am doing to see this result. I have no idea hoe to fix it.
@@ForeverDansky HI Dansky. Thanks for the awesome tutorial. Can you please share the tricks to change the inner circle radius after applying everything?
When i draw one circle above another, they overlap and i an not able to see the ovelapping part of below circle. I want to see both the circles. (In windows 10) Please help... Thank you
Hi, absolutely fantastic tutorial thank you! I followed it, but got some slight gaps between some of the individual shapes where they aren't all connected if that makes sense?
Dear sir I want to know that if we apply specific gradient to anyone part of the Swirl and after that with the help of rotating tool and control d can we create the whole design in a specific design of gradient of the one part of the Swirl aur we have to manually adjust the gradient to all the parts of this world differently to create a specific equaliser effect please make a video on it and if you have for shortcut for that please mention the shortcut in that video
Hi, Your tutorial is good but I would like to know when you used eye dropper tool to replicate the colour why in each piece same colour didnt apply and the colour gradually changed with each piece from yellow in the bottom to green in the bottom.
Amazing tutorial again. Thank you Dansky . I just wanna ask you that when I start using shape builder tool, always I am deleting the biggest cirle edge. I guess that circles are not touching the edges of the circles so it does not line up or what ?
the best Illustrator teacher on the web, by far
Wow thanks so much Luiz!
I second that
Simple, quick and no flapping about. I've only just watched two of your logo videos and learned lots. Great stuff, thank you.
DANSKY YOU ARE A GAWD! U made it look so easy that im ashamed I cudnt just do it myself... You are not human! I bow down
That 60fps mouse movements is so pleasing to watch! And thanks for the wonderful tutorial!
I thought i was a weird thing to say but damn is good to watch

You and Satori graphics are the gods of this side of YT, amazing! never quit

I think the Shape Builder tool has been a part of Illustrator since before CC, so great even for those not all the way updated!
Aha yes you're right mate! Illustrator CS5+ after a quick Google 😉
so we're pretty safe teaching it, how many times do you think you've explained global swatches over the years? haha 😂
Haha... probably about as many times as I've said "select one of Photoshop's default soft feathered brushes" 😂
hahaha
Only difference between this CC version in the vid, and the one I'm using is that dragging my shape builder moves in a straight line. :/.
one of the best tutorials i ever watched

Why shape builder tool line is not getting curved in illustrator cs6?
Whenever I try to use it,it always remains straight
Install cc
Well explained and the presentation is remarkable. Liked it very much.
Any a tips how to remove multiple anchor point there? A Simple way
Direct Selection Tool (top of toolbar on the left) - drag over the anchor points and press delete/backspace to remove.
When I add the final color it also goes in the middle circle ⭕️ it should be transparent like yours ??
Drag over to select everything. Then with the Shape Build Tool hold Alt/Option and click on the area in the middle to remove 👍
Thanks for a great tutorial ! How would you go about dropping a rasta/photoshop image into each section rather than using colour gradient ?
You'd have to place single images and then use the paths to create a clipping mask
your awesome ...i just learn cc .ur my guide
That was awesome I practice every logo you make. I do little bit of tricks of my own but final result is always fantastic..Thank you
Thank you, I learned a lot from your video. You are the best.
