Being a daddy isn’t all about DNA! It’s about how you raise a child! You obviously did this with love in your heart! Amazing story! Good luck to you all ❤
Amen! I met my husband 23 yrs ago and I had 2 sons from previous relationships and my oldest call him dad and he took that role in himself and said he didn't mind and he loves them like his own! So after we got married, we had 2 more sons. So when people ask him how many kids he have, he tells them he has 4 sons! The love I have for my hubby is so strong and I thank him all the time for stepping up and taking that role and being the best dad ever!
@@victoriakillman9862 that’s beautiful! I have been with my husband 21 years married 19! We have 5 children between us but none together! 5 is enough 😊 we treat all our children exactly the same! I am extremely close to my step children as my husband is to mine! I love our blended family ❤️
My wife and I just recently adopted my niece, she is 8 years old and the transition is tough but she seems to be in a better place. She even got student of the year last year!
My parents divorced when I was 8 years old and my mom remarried when I was 9 and my stepdad is one of the most amazing men I’ve ever known, he’s a jack of all trades I mean you name it he did it at one point in his life and he came from drug addiction and turned his life around and he makes a lot of money and even more importantly he became the man and father I needed in my life as my biological father, who is still in my life to a degree, wasn’t there for me most of my life. But I love my stepdad as if he was my blood, I’m 20 years old now and I have two new brothers and my stepdad and I hunt and fish together and I’ve loved every moment and I thank god that he put that man in my life when I needed him most.
I was a single mom when I married my.hubby my soul mate, he took on my little girl ,she was just 3yrs old when we got together ,we went on to have another 3 children together ,he never treated her any different from the 3x he we had together ,he even had her name tattooed on his arm along with our other 3x ,go's bless him ,he's such a angel ,he s such a fantastic husband /father ,❤
This is an awesome video… How can anybody not shed tears with this video.. I had a similar yet different scenario, whereas my now ex-wife and I conceived a son soon after we wed but soon after a spell of infidelity on her part, I could not do it again with her therefore being that I wanted more kids we adopted a child, another son, right from birth and even though my blood does not run through his veins, we are immensely identical… We even have the same hair!… things changed and we had a third son… But I’ll tell you something, my middle guy, Zachary, who is now married with a baby is “un-biologically” my twin!!❤ he knows of his birth parents, but I am his true dad and he worships the ground I walk on and I’m proud to tell this story… And now because of him, I have a brand new grandson… Thanks Zachary, love, dad !!! 😘
I was raised by a man who is not my biological father, he is not my biological grandfather or my “biological” anything, technically he is my step-grandfather… but, I just call him Dad.
@@jordanbabcock9349 Sometimes, if not raised by actual biological parents, children would be raised by grandparents. The words “father” & “dad” have 2 different meanings for me. Those words refer to 2 different people. My point was that shared blood/DNA is not needed to be a great ‘dad’ to a child. Simply was stating that I have no shared blood or any biological connection with the wonderful, amazing man that I call ‘dad’. My “dad” is my grandmother’s 2nd husband which technically or legally would make him my step-grandfather. I also never said “bio dad” or “bio granddad”, I specifically said “father” & “grandfather”.
And what is your point why don't you shut your mouth nobody cares what you have to say so do us all a favor and shut your mouth and don't come back here

Again!!! Stop over-romanticizing these trends. If a man wants to adopt any child, let him do it. He should make the decision, he should take that lead. He should be the one to initiate such choice as the adult, he is. Not the child, and certainly not at the wedding to impose that kind of pressure or demand.
What's to stop her from divorcing him at any time, leaving him to pay child support for a kid that's not his? Some guys just can't help themselves but to learn things the hard way.

Giving life to a child doesn't make you a parent. Its the life you give them that does.
Damn, well said! That hit home!
Mate I get your statement but you wrote it wrong.
