I'm wondering if the problem is that the cylinder shrinks when the motors hot causing the tolerances to shrink. Physically slowing the engine down to where it stalls without throttle. Therefore being no gimmick trick to fix this issue and the only solution is to break the motor in like how you've mentioned broken it bikes idle better under water.
Ever come up with a definitive way to idle under water. My sons 420 has issues with idling under water and I don’t him to stall if he happens to let off the gas a little.

I don’t think it really matter it just if you get lucky or not I cut my o2 sensor to make it look deleted and still works like normal and mine idles with a big gun no tuner so..

Why don't you just spray down sections of the engine and wiring harness with ice-cold garden hose you would probably find the problem at least if you think is the clearance with a piston and ring and cylinder you can spray The jug down with cold water

Hey brother it’s me your side chicks husband. I had a very similar problem that the gas was bubbling shooting out the vent line even when it is wasn’t filled to the top and it would happen after a few mins of riding and I noticed when I would open the gas cap it would stop bubbling in my clear vent line like if it needed to depressurize or suck in air. So I bought a Honda trx250 gas cap with the hose and lil vent valve and it stopped shooting gas out the vent line and stopped bubbling period
I’m glad I found this comment I have the same issue I’m about to order the gas cap.I went so far as to wrapping the exhaust to try and help with the heat. I can’t drive very far the tank will be half way within a couple of hours.
I mean it would have to go around the piston rings... or it would have to die and the perfect situation where the intake and exhaust valve were slightly open and then fill up the airbox completely and then make it into the oil through the crankcase breather pretty unlikely
On google it says “the moisture from the floor could cause the wooden box to wrap, allowing the glass cells to shift and break. Of course, the battery acid would leak all over the floor and the battery would be rendered useless”
chris melton No it bc i fried my 1200 battery for one of my tractors becase it was left on my concrete floor wether it was the floor or not I’m not leaving any batteries on concrete lmaoo

Should play with the resistor pack to where it'll run a little on the rich side but no CEL

maybe try a hmf or just n exhaust?
Turn you idle up on top of the throttle body.
What happens with a o2 spacer?
You should adjust the throttle knob on the handle bars just a tad and see if that helps, that’s another thing people say to do!
That is not the right way to adjust idle. Could actually be dangerous. that would rely on the cable never stretching or hanging

Buy another set of rings and gap them extra wide till your bore wears in then throw the originals back in

I just dielectric greased all the connections and spark plug boots

What worked for mine was remove the metal filter frame. Idles non-stop now.

this old guy told us to set exhaust valve a couple thousands tighter and intake the looser this was my fix
mimics why older bikes idle under water bettter
I could kind of see that making a difference that would reduce the amount of overlap between the intake and exhaust valves
