You should make a generic guide (non-distro specific) on setting this up for other 3588 SBCs. Not much out there except for stuff covering Armbian and it would be very useful.
I doubt the Pi Foundation will target this performance, as it will push the price of the Pi5 up. Don't count on it that the Pi5 will be faster than this.
I'm waiting for you to test heavier games like Counter Strike or Dota 2. He can run them, since the performance of this GPU is like the UHD 617 built-in from Intel.

Can you test csgo? csgo is cpu bound and if that also allows for nice translation maybe gaming on a phone could improve rapidly soon

You have a great support for Orangepi 5 from Armbian. Instructions for Rock5 applies. Its almost the same hw.
