It is interesting to see the exact same mechanic on both marksman with the riot and sleeper. Seems like they should be slight different at least. Also, not sure why they specify red dice since each type of attack dice has 1 crit and 1 surge.
I'm very happy that the R5 has treads and alt heads. That was the one previewed in the 3d render and I was bummed when it looked like they went back to a standard version. I like the Andor feel
Nice to see that the hard plastic has more detail, and the loth cat and cover could be used to make a POI. As for future units, I kinda want some imperial army corps units and or an AT-DT from the solo movie.
The partial wall would make for some good scatter terrain if you don't use it on the base. And I agree it will really depend on the paint job to set these guys apart from the Rebel Troopers and Rebel Commandos. Problem for me is... I already did that with a unit of Troopers, made their paint jobs look like they were just ordinary citizens that were given a rifle, helmet, and backpack. On the bright side, you can also use them as extra troopers if you do decide to have a large Trooper squad on the field.
Options for heads is great. But I will nitpick just a little. They are not "Hot Swappable". That implies you can take them off and replace them at any time. They could be if you magnetized them... Sorry it's my IT nerd coming out. Great job on the review. I am really liking the new plastic kits for Legion.
This unit is solid and has a bunch of interchangeable alien heads...sold!!! I agree with you regarding the marksman effect. Having effects that just cause a wound that can be taken in multiples isn't fun to play into and shouldn't really be an option.
The Marksman really feels like very lazy writing as it ignores any other rules that might be in play. AMG really needs to think about how they want to develop new units for the game
only situation I can see the marksmans being good in is to try to get a hit on somebody like Han or Vader or anyone who has a lot of defenses. But for 28/30 points and a whole activation idk how worth it it is, especially for a unit that can throw 12 black with surge
The Loth cat will easily become an objective token for my board! 😻
I honestly did think I’d already seen this video until I saw that it was recently posted. That’s how much they do look like the other rebels.

I love the rebel with the dual k16 Bryar pistols🤩
Bryar pistols anywhere makes me happy. Hardly any review channel picked up on the easter egg in Andor
@@alanbyrne9972 Eckarts did

glad they're doing Andor inspired stuff
but man I'm still dying for mudtroopers
Two days, two unboxings! Life is good.
Would love to see more Star Wars Unlimited content!
Thanks for continuing to make legion content!

Im a CIS player and these models have convinved me i need a second army...
Lol Rebels are my second army too....I play Ewoks, but these guys do look super tempting to pick up too. Best looking models outside the CIS faction

Pick mine up today. So excited
Not a rebel player but might pick that on up
Can’t wait for resculpts of the Rogue One units!
Also gr75 best ship.
Cassian andor is the best rebel captain.
Also if you ever come to Colorado lets play!
Super cool models! Don’t have a rebel army but could see these being used as outcasts for Necromunda

Trenchcoat brigade looks cool
I had the same issue with poor fits and gaps with the two core sets. Less so the clone wars one. But it was still there.

I really don't think it will be used much. The price is ridiculous for what it does. Plus the droid just does more for squad survivability
I think sleeper cell and ewog slingers will be the new base special forces for rebels
are you going to SpaceCon in San Antino Texas featuring actors from Star Wars Star Trek Star Gate

Always a informative vidio thank you
so disappointing that they dont have the new cards. It just shows a disconnect between teams making them
Lothcat!
First!!
