Very professional security tutorial on use of non-lethal weapon.Much respect from 🇿🇲🇿🇲.
I’ve been a fan of your work for a few years. I own a security company. I now use this video for instructional purposes. It was well done by you! 🙏Thank you!
the confetti is such a nice addition I always feel like my capture is a festive event :p
Not tryin’ to bust your bubble, but that’s not confetti. Those are little paper things that tell you who fired the taser.

How does the battery for the taser work? Is the battery rechargeable?
Can you use taser cartridge two times
If you try to catch someone who is being tased, to keep them from hitting their head, can you also be stunned?
Nice explanation !😁Thank you
Can you do dry taser
So if you fire the cartridge and miss, can you drop the cartridge and use the handheld portion as a contact weapon?
I was wondering the same thing
Yes you can.
Yes. I think all Tasers can do that.
Lucky for me police in our town don’t use tazers
My company is allowing us to start carrying Tasers after we take a training course. I bought a used X26C and when I put the battery in instead of getting the battery life on the display all I get is E2? Light and laser work fine and I tested it without the cartridge and the stun gun part works just wondering what the heck E2 means.
Never seen that before. I would contact taser and ask.
@@freefieldtraining Got this back from Taser thanks for the suggestion to contact them. The E2 error on the X26C indicates a time and date error on the weapon. It will not affect the functioning of the weapon, but if downloaded, the firing logs will show incorrect times. The only way to resolve the E2 error is to sync the weapon with a computer to update the Time/Date.
I think it's 30 seconds of pulse on the C2, not 20.
I tased him and it knock him out!!! Sounds more cooler, but it is not true. Thanks for the info.
I bought a blue flashlight sabre taser from academy. Is that basically the same thing or is it entirely different
What’s academy?
@@SamTheMan12 its like a sports and outdoors storw. Where u get camping hunting fishing gear. Sports equipment. Etc
@@Hey_Its_Tazz oh ok i thought it was police academy sorry i am not from america
Does anyone know once you fire 1 of these can the attachment be reused or you have 2 get a new 1
The cartridges are single use, so you’d have to buy another.
You need to remove the used cartridge and replace it with a new one. The gun itself doesn't need to be replaced.
(But the batteries may be after multiple firing.)
Yeah, the cartridges are single use so you need buy additional ones.
Hopefully it's for self-defense and only when necessary.
They fastest I clicked
Who else kept rewinding the clip of him getting tased for the laughs?
I think I have just seen it all. I watched a video of a duty belt set up and this guy had his taser on his strong side in front of his gun.
It went buckle, taser, OC Spray, and then gun. I dont know what taser training this guy went through but, when I went through it was taught if you wear a taser on your belt it's always support side and at a cross draw.
Is there something new from when I recertified last year?
Nope, I wouldn't suggest putting your taser anywhere near your gun.
Old comment, but still relevant. I run quite a few extra magazines on my vest blocking a strong side crossdraw for my taser. I now run my taser in a standard left handed grip. I follow the akimbo mentality for situations when I am the sole person on scene. I am trying to not shoot anybody, but there are lots of times where the necessity for lethal/non-lethal coverage is paramount.
If u look at the M26 taser at the back, it looks like a glock..........
I am actually training to become a police officer so this is an amazing start to my journey 😃👍
Taser are absolutely fascinating to me some say im obsessed. Great video. Keep up the great work!
would you ever mistake a gun for a taser though?
Nope, that's just a lie for cops to get out of hard situations
The taser and the gun are in different places and they don't feel the same, the moment it's in your arms, there's no way you can confuse them
@@Zapatote There absolutely is. If you are in a massively complex situation like a fight, it would be very easy to make that mistake. You have so much adrenaline going through you that you would not be able to feel the difference.
@@Zapatote tell me you've never been a fight without telling me
never clicked something so fast.
Hopefully I haven't made any weird technical or nomenclature mistakes....
I didn't find any until now. Nicely explained and detailed video.
This guy should do another video right now about the differences between tazer, safety, verses side arm and safety vs weight etc etc... in reference to Brooklyn cop shooting of 20 year old.
Tasers are really light compared to handguns. While it is not without precedent for a cop to mix up their taser and handgun under stress it is far from common in recent history due to better updated taser training. I have several videos on my channel talking about duty belt setups and why we put the taser in a different type of holster and on the opposite side of the body or on the chest away from our handguns in an effort to eliminate these types of unfortunate incidents. Here is but one: ua-cam.com/video/33CYpdhBJi8/v-deo.html

Dude I can’t wait to buy my x26c taser on jsr and it’s only gonna cost 💲 me $650.00 cents and I’m getting it because I’m a cop so yea
1:52 This seems kinda relevant for the Daunte Wright case.
yup!
She probably knew she held a gun. How she yell "taser taser taser" like she not been trained on how tasers work? She was thinking BANG BANG BANG in all honesty.
i been sayin this. she didnt turn the taser on. she just pulled on shot
Excellent video! Got tased in february and went through alot of this same information with my department. would not do it again!
I recall hearing that you can use a TASER with the cartridge removed as a contact stun-gun. Does that work? Is it safe for the subject (assuming you don't stick them in the heart)?
You can use it as a contact stun gun, it is just a pain compliance tool at that point and of limited use though. The only time I find that technique particularly effective is in fighting people into cuffs when you just can't quite get the horsepower up to get hands behind the back when they are face down.
for my x26 that works but idk about all tazers
Nothing is safe!
Most Departments FORBID using one in drive mode!
I want a mini taser mounted to the picatinny rail on my sig 320

Only by people who aren't cops in the truest sense of the word....
@@freefieldtraining Better than a stick has always been my philosophy.
So you can shoot only once. Why did the cop shoot rayshard with a gun after he had already spent the only Taser shot
There are several models of taser, from one to three shot.
Because even the single shot models have another cartridge in the grip, meaning he had another shot no matter what.
When you say memory what exactly are you talking about with your duty taser
Chevy Fan
There's an internal computer that records data such as when the taser was deployed and how long it was deployed. It's very useful for law enforcement agencies.
just did tazer shot training at the academy and its fun
i think its a great tool, but of course the use needs to know the correct way to use the tazer and make sure to get that proper distance
What kind of pain is a taser? Is it like an extreme muscle cramp since I assume it contracts your muscles due to the electricity? Or is it a different kind?
It’s like a full body pain that shorts out your brain so you have no idea wtf is going while it’s running.
If you have ever been hit by a stun gun in the hand or something it feels like that, but more intense, and all over your body, while also every muscle in your body is contracting like you are lifting up a car.
Its like a giant muscle contraction. Used to override the voluntary muscle control and to disrupt neuromuscular transmitters.
This can cause the lock up that you see in a lot of videos. The bigger the spread the more effective the cycle is
Dad and his fellow C.O. say it's like getting stabbed constantly for 5 seconds.
One time I accidentally put my hand on a gate that head bolts of electrical wire that shoots through the entire fence and I accidentally shocked myself so if that sounds bad then don’t get into the wrong hands of a taser 8:19
He got tased in milliseconds of moving his hands which mean he was going to get tased anyways and it takes about 2 seconds to tases someone. So he was not avoiding this, plus it’s four of them. This was totally unnecessary.
Love my Taser Pulse, it gives me decent protection without having to seriously harm somebody, I really don’t want that if possible.
If you want a better look at how the cartridge fires check out the slow mo guys taser youtube video
Question is it legal to carry your taser on your car seat?
thatnks very mjch itll help in very scary conflit and incidents
Could you make a video about all the taser that are in use now . Maybe how do you insert it or shoot it
Great video, good instruction, fantastic intro to tasers and totally awesome information! This appears to me to be quite informative. I'm a forearms instructor that's never had any kind of info on tasers or training. Thank you for this video.
Love the videos! Keep up the amazing work!
Good vid.
It just sort of confuses me how this is called a taser and not a stun gun, because this has more of an appearance of a gun than what's known as a stun gun. Plus, it can shoot unlike a stun gun.
Good info , that barb at the end of the taser dart looks like it would hurt
Can you have X26 for armed security ?
5 years later, Axon has released the 10 shot Taser10
I appreciate this video a lot . I just ordered one for work and I’m getting certified soon.
I didn't know it could go through 2 inches of coat, my answer to people who say "why did cops shoot XYZ instead of taze him?" had always been "Look, the guys wearing a winter jacket, you can't taze through that".
Thick puffy coats can cause problems, but simply putting on a jacket, even a heavy leather motorcycle jacket does not necessarily negate the effects of the taser.
Buy X2, dual laser sights and dual cartridges
And carry something the size of a Cannon? Why?
Taser go _“ARKY SPARYY”_
carry mace or pepper spray as well
Every training and study I’ve ever seen showed taser energy can’t penetrate the skeletal muscles and into the cardiac muscle so there’s no threat to the heart from the taser itself
Tasers own literature explains areas that should not be targeted unless the situation warrants lethal force due to risk of cardiac complications.
Here are some articles that outline the studies. I'm sure if you click around and pay a fee to the journals listed in them you can read the full studies for more details:

2:40 the civilian model actually gives off 30 seconds, not 20 seconds
The pulse is 30 seconds however the x26c which is the civilian x26 is 10 seconds however you can press the trigger 3 times it’ll go 30 seconds
Cant people upgrade their own vests by simply putting an aluminium foil cut out on top of the ballistic insert? As an electrical engineering student I cant think of a reason why that wouldnt work assuming both prongs hit the vest. Human body has very high resistance, aluminium foil in parallel to it would act as a short. It is the same principle as a layer of conductive mesh within the insert itself.
I haven't tried it, but I would imagine aluminum foil wouldn't last too long in that environment basically being worn as part of a garment.
Could use the extra strong one that you grill pigs in. Could even sandwich it between two layers plastic film, it would still work because the prongs would penetrate that.
Really good video
I know for a fact the world is coming to we would stay a end? I do need some defense, I'm in a very heavy duty drug area? Here in Missouri, and I would like to know the laws about carrying one of these? If you can't let me know what,? What I need to know about carrying one of these.? If you can by all means I will check. With the police department here in Marshfield Missouri, and what type of training I will have to need you carry this? Thank you I hope they get a good reply back
Is seven feet the effective range? What distance is the maximum where both darts will hit?
15ft for the 2017 X26C is the maximum.
I see some problems with that traser having a similar grip to a gun.
kyle 123 yes that is a problem in high stress situations. It can easily be mistaken as a firearm and vice versa. That is why it is becoming a standard for the taser to be holstered in a cross draw fashion on the other side of the duty belt from the firearm. Also, some run the taser holstered on their duty vest. Although mistakes still happen. So you're absolutely correct. That's why training is important.
How many milliamps is a 5 second shot from an X26? Anybody know? Or know where I can find that out?
I need to watch this cause I ain’t understand it in class! When pull the trigger do I release or keep holding it till 5 sec up ? How long I wait to pull the pong out the person back ?

Why would u drop the device just release the cartridge it cost 400 dollars that expensive bro
Could a taser potentially set of a lighter if it was in a pocket? Just wondering if there are any potential fire hazards with using a taser. Or what if you use it after there was a car crash with gas leaking.
Definitely. At one time even some pepper spray could burst into flames if you oc'ed someone and then tased them. The OC isn't an issue really anymore, but gas vapors are a very real concern. Like any less lethal weapon, common sense is necessary.
They are designed for holsters!
@11:48 Don't forget that if one of the prongs hits someone right on the spinal column, you'll likely have to call for EMS so they can have the prong safely removed. I've seen this before on Live PD.

So would it be good to just aim for someone's lower body like at the waist and continuing down. I wouldn't want to hurt someone badly even if they were doing that to me -if I could avoid it--
That M26 is not civilian model. The civilian models in that body style were the M18 and M18L.
The M26 in your hand is actually the strongest taser ever made. The x26 is what changed things with the shaped pulse technology where the two tasers are differentiated by explaining the M26 as “kicking the door in” and the X26 as “using a key to unlock the door” when it comes to its success against suspects.
The x26 is better but that M26 straight up jacked people up haha.
Love your taser knowledge, great video!!
BS!They have the same power circuit! Get educated!
So you are saying a taser can still work even if the taser prongs don't penatrate skin as long as both prongs are less than 2 inches from the skin? Or do you mean 2 inches from each other?
🤬🤬🤬🤬 Sala
isn't he look like Liev Schreiber !!!??? ray donovan!!
How much cost x26?
Great video, thanks
What do you mean by record? Does that mean that it tells the police department that you work for that you used it?
The newer models like the X2 have a “tracker” kinda feature. It lets someone with the authority to use a software and it can see how many times it’s been turned on or use the dry stun feature as well as a full deployment with the probes
@@Unclebambam is that like the body cam thing that it's supposedto help "prevent" "police brutality"
@@mattdaddy_888 it depends what one would consider police brutality because I feel like that’s a very common definition now a days
@@Unclebambam whatever the law or jurisdiction defines excessive force I guess or if someone tries sewing the department for excessive force. I'm guessing excessive use of the taser just to cause pain.

Can civilians own this type of taser?
Tasers are not restricted in most places in the US. So in most places it is perfectly legal to own any taser. The company "taser" restricts sales of some of them though.
what type police use a x26 I use a x26 and not a cop
How do these tasers compare to a Glock in weight and feel and operation to fire one?
How legal are tasers in a self defense capacity for civilian and can you get assault with a deadly weapon if it was self defense.
whos here because you used your gun instead of our taser
I want that taser that is the one that's for the video
Just looked at the prices for these things. For something that may or may not work I'd rather just get my CCW. I guess better to have it then not to have it though am I right?
Here’s the problem though you need to use reasonable and necessary force. Especially if your a cop or security guard. Your actions are going to be knit picked in court and need to be able to justify your actions. If you use deadly force on someone who poses a threat but not a deadly threat you’ll be in a world of shit.
How can you have high voltage with low amperage?
It's like having high pressure water pipe and have low water flow when you turn the valve on.
old comment I know, but this is because of Ohm's Law: Amperage = Volts/Resistance. so high resistance on a high voltage system will have high volts but low amperage. Like making a tight nozzle on a high pressure water pipe, it's still high pressure, but there isn't much flow.
I would rather the multi shot tasers
The pulse is 30 seconds not 20..
Were can i find one for a good price the x26
I bet it's painful getting tazzed, police are awesome
Second!!!
How do the people holding cops during taser training not get shocked does it involve the whole path of least resistance aspect of electricity
The red laser dot target the subject and that's who gets electrified.
So why does the police version have a 5 second cycle? So the officer can quickly handcuff the suspect after it discharges?
The police model ones are for taking people I to custody while they are being shocked. The consumer model ones are to buy you time while you run away. Kinda like how police use of martial arts is often different from military or standard civilian versions. The techniques and equipment are tailored to the end goal.
How much does it actually hurt when you get tased?
Question, do the batteries of a taser need to be replaced after firing once? Thank you for your help
No. Usually they can fire between 20 and 50 times before a need to replace those awesome batteries.
Mine is a TASER Pulse+
That ain’t no toy That is one serious taser
pulse is for 30 seconds I thought...
thanks very much thiss ill help
