@@BigTex65 well traditionally we only wore bates. But they are low cost with good longevity, but not as comfortable. As far as boots go. I 100% agree with him. Just make sure if you buy them you got with a high top. Low tops give 0 support, especially in law enforcement

I don't know if you have to be a police officer to enter. I am participating in a crime prevention crime reduction and crime Combatting effort locally in Aurora Illinois. I am aspiring to recruit others. Officer Ochoa, Sullivan, Myer, Briggs, Avila,, Bryan,Miller, Goehring and others have seen me in my tactical vest (I have two) or duty belt gear and have cleared me to use and or possess the items. I have had an extremely brief time as a Security officer in Hammond,Indiana and I almost gave up permanently. I like the boots!
I was curious about the same thing... That's why I'm most interested in the boots, I'm on my feet all day and my job as school maintenance, doesn't allow weapons on property so outside of stopping to help the wrong person at the wrong time, the rest seems a bit unreasonable for me at the moment. Although I've always wanted to be a cop, but for my jurisdiction doesn't allow more than 5 experimental uses of marijuana... Until that changes...

Currently getting ready to join the academy and would like to have best equipment possible to best serve my community. I am excited for all of this equipment as I am currently finishing up college and have a lot of student loans to pay off. Any money I save on equipment would help tremendously.
I would appreciate the vest greatly. I’m a cop in a rural Arkansas community where equipment costs impose a great deal of hardship on our police department. We are a department of 3 certified officers serving a town of 2,000 people. When I transferred to this agency from my local Sheriff’s office, I inherited a vest carrier that is ill fitting and not greatly suited to me. I also have two holsters, but could always use a better one. I was dressed so professionally in tactical gear officers in Hammond thought I was an off duty police officer. I assisted two officers in around 2013 in escorting three gang banger types from the formerly open Jefferson Hotel. I have been studying military science, interdisciplinary engineering, martial arts martial science and self defense for 33 plus years since I was 12-13 years old !

Update. Did not have super glue so I threw some duct tape in the hole and colored it black with a sharpie. Modern problems require modern solutions. Glad i didn't get any OC in the hole yesterday. Guys, don't get OCd. Today is STOPS so I'm definitely getting my feet wet 🙄

Everything else, gun and all other gear is personally bought. I used GI Bill to put myself through academy so much different than applying to a big city department and getting put through the academy.

Well, it's good to know I used most of the gear you have... Streamlight LED HL, Safariland holster, exterior plate carrier from Safelife with a Safeguard Kevlar vest underneath. I have a Streamlight HL weapon light on my Glock 22 Gen 4 40 cal. Although I have retired, I must say... this is good stuff. Thanks for sharing...

I wouldn’t mind a new duty light. Handheld, or pistol light would both work. Then again a new pistol would be AMAZING!!!

The Stinger HL would be awesome. I’ve used so many cheap walmart lights including mag lights and none seem to live up to the abuse.

Most excited for the flashlight. Recently graduated the academy and have one that is on the smaller side.

I would also like to see another video on more gear you'd recommend. Maybe like rifle slings, sights, knives, off duty gear, handcuffs etc.

Well, it's good to know I used most of the gear you have... Streamlight LED HL, Safariland holster, exterior plate carrier from Safelife with a Safeguard Kevlar vest underneath. I have a Streamlight HL weapon light on my Glock 22 Gen 4 40 cal. Although I have retired, I must say... this is good stuff. Thanks for sharing...
