That bass has a really contoured tone. Even with the mids boosted all the way. I'll pass. Just doesn't get mid-rangy enough for some of the stuff I play.
@@WaRLoKWYATT bro, this man has been building basses for 50 years by hand, sound is complicated and his mastery of it in his building is worth a lot. Further more a custom Gibson les paul is way more just for prospective.
Sounds good.
Sound very good!
I have an older model of these. It's a really good bass. Worth every penny.
Man, Jonathan's playing like he's nervous. Get that man a drink!
True that, time's all stuttery

DaveSwag Run any 2 single coils full volume through that specific amp and they will sound scooped. Except Nordstrand's Big Singles probably...
Tyler Wylie Mills yeah, it might be the amp. It sounds so dark. As if there are no mids at all.
It’s the bass player and EQ on the bass . The bass player sucks
$3800 to $4400? Jesus man...it's just a Bass...
That's a drop in the bucket compared to a well built acoustic upright bass...
AGC517 Yeah, but there's more to those. It's a very intricate build. Electric bases are simple!

I would not pay that for this bass. Nothing about it inspires me . I would pay this much for an Alembic which is a great bass
