I think that's lighter than Eddie which is hilarious: Eddie has a 3 year weight loss journey to be in 'bodybuilding shape' . And thor loses more weight in 7 months.
@@benextinction__144 just my opinion but being super big and strong is part of Eddie's ego and Thor just wants to be as good as he can in whatever he wants to acheive. The massive size was what he needed for WSM and now he doesnt.
@@kurt9034 yeah I agree with you, im just saying that it is really illogical by eddie considering they are training for a boxing match and really need to slim down. Eddie is still very heavy and the fact thor is now lighter than Eddie speaks volumes to me about their attitudes towards the fight

Great timing lol I was just wondering why I've never taken some time to really master the deadlift form despite considering it the most based exercise. Time to go for it now!
You've been an inspiration for me to do deadlifts. When people say it's 'not possible', I see you making it Possible. Thank you for motivating many people around the world. Your humbleness though you've the world record is spellbound. Love from India 🇮🇳 ❤️ All the best for all that you do.
Very good video! Sending this to my grandson. He has been dead lifting for a few months now! I think he will appreciate your video. Thank you Thor! Much love💕
Really impressed with the skipping and the footwork, jab and move find an open spot and open up with combos, when Eddie is too much back up and away and keep those hands up when needed. Rules for deadlifting; 1)Correct feet positioning 2)The right grip and hand placement on the bar. 3)Always fart before a lift, not during, otherwise you run the risk of touching cloth or even the floor.
I’ve never had problems with my back from deadlifting either. The thing that I can recommend is that the exercise is a leg exercise before it is a back exercise. The initial movement should be you pushing the weight of the ground before you use your posterior chain to get upright.
I lift for Like 10+ years, but never deadifted, always felt wrong or thought i was to tall, I'm 2,03 m. But now i got to attack it thanks Big Man! Im planning on visiting Iceland next year, hopefully im able to Lift at least 200kg😅 fullsterkur💪🏼

Thanks for your deadlift tips. I always try to learn correct techniques from champions and try to implement to improve my results. So glad to see you deadlifting again, champ! Your version of "weak" is still stronger than what most can hope to achieve. Thanks for sharing your journey with us.

I've never been very strong but was making progress when covid happened. I been stuck in the house, homeshooling my 3 kids for 10 months now and my progress is completely gone. Depressed as hell about it so started back just doing light workouts at home every day. Thanks for the vid, will make sure to keep your tips in mind when I'm able to get access to a proper weight set again.
Many thanks for these tips! Widening my stance and slightly widening my grip allowed me to increase my 5 RM by 10-15 kg in one session. /Viktor from Sweden
Have your weights all tight with a collar and making sure is not sliding should be a weight lifting rule... Listen to the Thor guys!!! Always make sure the weight is secure by a weight collar.
2025 - Thor returns to strongman and breaks Eddie's axle-press record, then imitates his accent to camera like: 'New Wehld Reckawd - anoover one .... a Reckawd Of The Wehld ;)'
@RaozSkillz Oh yeah, Eddie lifted that shit like a broomstick! He COULD have lifted more ... but he didn't. The record is for 'heaviest axel pressed overhead' - not 'heaviest axel that someone reckons they could have pressed overhead, several years ago, if they'd really gone for it'. That's the point that people are missing. It's like when Eddie said how he could have pulled a 550kg deadlift 'if he'd actually cared' - until he does it, that's all empty words. He's just saving face - and it's that kind of vain refusal to admit defeat that makes it very difficult for me to like him.
