I had regular diarrhea, heart issues, bone pain, ears popped and were closed, my nose dripped all the time and I had brain for, etc. I am 73, not over weight, active and love my life. For 40 plus years we have grown most of our food (organically) including our beef and goats. In 2023 I took the IGg blood test. I tested 100% in all dairy, most grains, some vegs and fruits, eggs, and coffee. I totally dropped any foods that were triggering me--very restrictive diet. Within a week I was a lot better, My heart doctor was amazed that my heart was now totally normal. I retested my IGg one year later. I had some improvement. Some foods that were 100% had dropped to a lower percent. Dairy and grains all remained high. I have remained on the diet and continue to feel great. No joint pain, steady heart, lots of energy but still a drippy nose and loss of hearing. I haven't had a pizza in 18 months until this week. I had a major reaction. Food is much more powerful that I ever imagined.

@@debipearl8861 Thank you, interesting. The nasal drip maybe an allergy to dusts or pollens. MSM really really helps me if I take enough of it. Of late, I've been doing rather more cheese than I think wise. Pecans and almonds are off limits as they seem to cause loose stool aka diarrhea. I am OK with other nuts. Typically in a day I eat a serving of berries with sour cream, fish, beef, lamb and pork. I seem to never to get salads. Once in while I get a half can of garbanzo beans. I don't eat corn meal, wheat, millet, rice, buckwheat or rye. I find citrus to be suspect though some days my fruit serving is a whole peeled grapefruit which I enjoy intensely. And I am due for some testing. I dropped going to the doctor at the start of the COVID vaccines campaign. Plus, he didn't provide me with my metabolic panels which I likely would understand better than he would.

I am so very glad to see comments like yours being made to tell people how significant food is - thank you. I am vaccine free and have a similar lifestyle and outlook - happy and active outdoors, home grown foods. I grew up with almost exclusively home grown or caught food and found, once we moved into ''civilisation'' that I am sensitive to processed/ chemically augmented foods so have avoided it all my adult life - I'm 65. The virus, [itself mild] however, did affect something in me, not too dramatic, but where a raw vegetable would ''feel'' like a sugar loaded cake. I cleared it quickly, days even, but it did make me think the something in all this persuades the body to lie to itself and I am certain that Dr Raszek is correct in his identification of the function of the vagus nerve in this regard.

I stopped eating pasta, and all breads, and sugars, basically everything that is white. I started this diet about 5+ years ago. Then I caved and ate a pasta dish made by my daughter at our Thanksgiving dinner. I paid for that later. My lower gut threw a terrible temper tantrum because the pasta threw it into spasms. It was very painful. It's hard to explain the pain I felt in my digestive tract. I had to rest a whole day because my gut just wasn't having it. I have not had any pasta since and I'll never do that to my body again.

@@MerogenomicsMy lab paper does not state this. It is done through Immuno Labs in Fort Lauderdale FL. My doctor also ran IgAs separately which led to even more foods needing to be restricted . High Ig's with multiples of foods apparently are seen in patients that have autoimmune conditions like I do.
I hope this gets to family practitioners, as I've been told in the past, that high levels are "normal" reactions and cause no problems. I strongly disagree. I know about 12 people who tested positive high levels and food restrictions have greatly helped and even reversed disease.

      @stepside2839 4 дні тому

@@Merogenomics One has to ask & convince a doctor to test for
the sub levels of IgG. When the test is done, I was informed that it tested for
all 4 levels & an individual test for one of the sub levels could not be done.
They said the test will cover all 4 sub levels.
Most of the time a test of immunoglobulins will be for IgM, IgA, IgG only.
These are considered the protective Ig s.
No one, to my knowledge, knows what IgD does.
IgE is generally regarded as inflammation/allergy immunoglobulin.
IgA lines the mucosal system. IgM is a large molecule .. is protective.
Both IgD & IgE in people have a low blood serum levels as compared with the other three.
An IVIG is given to immuno-compromised people, which brings the level of IgG up only.
The IgG is a tiny molecule and can get into everything, but the other immunoglobulins levels are generally not brought up after an infusion, unless one gets an infusion with
an IgG solution that has more ‘trace amounts’ of IgA & IgM. Some doctors shy away from these solutions for fear of a patient reaction. If a patient has no IgA, for example,
the patient could go into anaphylactic shock if given such a treatment.
The IVIG solutions come with different trace amounts of IgA & IgM, but generally it
is an infusion of just IgG.
I recently read that IgA has 2 sub levels 🤷🏻‍♂.. I need to research that.
Requesting the solution that has more IgA & IgM in them is more risky.
      There is a - pure solution, a 5% solution, a 10% solution.
The solution with more IgA & IgM in them will gradually bring up the patient’s level
of those two immunoglobulins and of course the IgG will come up dramatically
after about 10 days to two weeks, but the levels will fall back down after that time
and will vary among different people.
Most all this is over my head but I keep stumbling along 🤪🤓

It's not that those foods are bad because of the reaction. It's just that some people react to them, which usually means there's something wrong with the people, not with the food. Sometimes the food itself is not good, like dairy and eggs, but for other reasons.

Thank you so much! I have had chronic pain, mixed nociceptive pain with elements of neuropathic/central sensitization, for fifty years.
This resulted from a complex spinal injury.
After cutting out simple sugars and eating much smaller portions of grains about four years ago, a particular component of my pain (not directly related to my spinal trauma, imo) vanished...the myofascial pain syndrome, with dozens of trigger points, just went away. Poof. Gone for years.

Great video once again... I believe diet and exercise are synergenistic in that a healthy diet supplies the body with essential nutrients, and protection from potential gut damage. And exercise is the mechanism that supplies higher levels of oxygen and blood flow which allow the body to be ultra efficient, in matabolizing the nutrients, cell health, healing etc. etc.

    • @Merogenomics

    • @nicallen2137
      @nicallen2137 2 дні тому

@Merogenomics i would say diet. A good diet can be optimized with as little a 15-20 min of exercise a day. Where as if one had a poor diet or even just a "O.K" diet, it would take a much longer exercise routine to compensate. And the older you get the more critical it would be. Something else to consider is; it takes the body more energy to exercise than digesting food.
They work so well together but diet by a small margin.

Similar information was available at least by 2013 because Dr. Sara Ballentine discussed how to comb autoimmune disease with diet changes similar to the ones you are recommending. She is an immune system researcher who dug deep into how the body flares in auto immune. Autoimmune Coaches exist. We do see major changes in pain within 30 days. I have seen it as fast as 11 days on 100% of the protocol. There is hope, even though giving up favorite foods is incredibly difficult.

The problem is that people's wisdom is always ahead of science (sometimes many decades), and science is always ahead of medicine (sometimes also many decades). The unfortunate part is that our grassroots healers do not publish their findings in scientific papers. If that was the case, I think we would be moving so much faster. As I mentioned, these guys claimed they were first to publish such work, and these papers were 2022 and 2024! To me there are two spheres of wisdom out there, the official one and the unofficial one that is still propagated through books, magazine articles, newsletters or just word of mouth but because it is not backed by science, much of that wisdom is ignored by medicine, adding confusion. Eventually science will likely prove all of the people's wisdom anyway, so I wish we were smarter at tapping that knowledge than we are now.

@@Merogenomics I have heard many science literate people refer to wisdom based remedies as anecdotal evidence. But, how different is anecdotal evidence from self-reported symptom improvement? Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the dietary practices in natural remedies that have been developed over hundreds and hundreds of years relied on observation of both the one administering these remedies, and the one taking them. And I know I'm not wrong in saying that observation is one of the pillars of the scientific method.

My inflammation would flair up in milking season. My hands would get so bad I could not sleep. I dried off the goats and the pain would go away. I wonder now if it is more about what the animals eat since all the feed we buy for our chickens and mammals is full of things like Roundup. I definitely prescribe to the notion that we have different intolerance to foods and I'm very interested as to why.
My initial thoughts are that what is being put onto and absorbed into crops are being past into the food chain and these micro toxins within are causing an associated auto immune reaction to the proteins/fats containing it effectively priming the immune system.

I actually wanted to look for science info on IgG4 levels in bee keepers precisely because of that very concept but still haven't found literature that is available for study. But based on my understanding is that bee keepers are not know at all to have elevated health issue risks because of their IgG4 levels and in fact they are considered to be healthier than a general population. Your IgG4 levels against bee venom might be insignificant in comparison to what others might be experiencing due to food for example and bee keepers generally tend to lead healthier more organic lifestyles, no? But you could always test your IgG4 levels to see if you are curious. To me, elevated IgG4 is alarm only if cancer is also involved, and then I would pay attention just in case

People nowadays are in general more aware of the food, that they eat. So allergies and pain get more awareness then before 50 years and we try to heal or avoid them much more than in the past.
But I think, that there are many different causes for all those relative ( clinically seen )
    unspecific symptoms.
I found out long ago, that most people with back pain and bad digestion ( and typically every winter 2 - or 3 - times ill with flu, sometimes in summer too ),
have problems in their whole way of living, didn't like their profession and were rather UNAWARE of a lot of things - but just stayed in the same kind of unhappy life.
We have - in a way
( at least in comparison to the people's nutrition of the first half of the 19th century, from the 40ies on it became much better ),
the best nutrition of all times, but we're criticizing
    ( and suffering of )
it on a very high level.
Children are especially predestinated to get illnesses,
that are highly co - influenced by the psychological ecspectations of their parents and the society.
Medical and scientific opinions are permanently changing, very often they are a kind of the newest scientific mainstream
fashion and nearly always they're part of a new
    business model
( the so - called Covid - “vaccines“ weren't healthy or helpful at all, but probably more harmful, than even the early critics warned ).

But why does the IgG4 antibody response have to do anything with the gluten level? If I had to guess, the reason why we produce such antibodies is because the food component mimics something too much that is also part of our body and such individuals are genetically predisposed to produce these types of antibodies as a response, so that response has to be attenuated, hence the switch to IgG4 (keep in mind, I am just speculating here). Alternatively such individuals are genetically predisposed to have very high response to some element in food irrespective if it mimics anything in our body or not, and still has to be attenuated as well. Let me know your thoughts

Eggs from chickens fed with grains in mass production or biological eggs from pastured poultry which has more K2 in them? Those eggs are healthy and I eat them everyday together with raw milk products and fermented foods.

allergy..intolerance, even lectin response in the gut.So far I was astonished to hear about immunresponse but merely seen as being supposed cancerogenic

I wouldn't think of carcinogenic as I don't think we have evidence that IgG4s cause cancer, but rather they might be bad combination along with cancer, and this might be for only specific cancers too. Difficult to know because the role of IgG4s in cancer is still not well understood I don't think

Interesting study. Unfortunately our food supply has been so bastardized I don't think you could just look at food.
For instance with eggs we're not looking at what the chickens eat. Are the eggs from range fed chicken only or from grain-fed chickens.
Milk intake is down dramatically over the decades with increased allergies. What's the milk in the study whole milk or skim milk. What is the milk pasteurized or unpasteurized.
We've got to look at what our food eats for the root cause of problems along with modifications done to those foods that are now accepted practices from years past.
The Amish we're just raided as having the healthiest kids in the United States. They eat whole foods in restrict their kids on vaccines.
The Messiah tribes drink drink whole milk mix with blood have no Cancers and heart disease.
This study is full of holes. That need to be filled.
