Wonderful, heartfelt podcast. You touch on so many of the fundamental problems in medical care today. I'm a retired Canadian doc who spent 50 years on the front lines. What you say touches so many of the principles that guided me for decades and let me sleep at night as I get older. Good for you! Keep up the great work your honesty is so refreshing especially for an Oncologist.
I worked in an academic cancer center for 40 years in various administrative/executive roles. Your assessment of the situation is 100% correct. I try to tell friends and family and they don’t want to believe me because it scares them to think the system is completely broken. I’ve totally lost trust and believe most doctors don’t give a shit about their patients.
Our system only works because people believe it works. It's like am abusive family where everybody pretends that the abuse doesn’t happen because at least the family gives them the illusion of stability.

Early in 2020 I suspected a certain political party may have released the virus to use as an excuse to bring in mail in voting to defeat Trump which is exactly what happened. At the time I thought that was crazy and no one would be that evil. Now I’m not so sure. Four years earlier in 2016 I joked that Trump would be on Mount Rushmore. Now I hear people actually saying that. That’s about as crazy as Barron Trump being president in the 2040’s. Nah. Could never happen.

I hope the US Supreme Court gets the opportunity to determine the Constitutionality of preemptive, blanket pardons. Such blanket pardons have no precedent. I hope they're found to be unconstitutional.
The only other one I recall is Ford pardoning Nixon. It was hugely controversial at the time but allowed the country’s politics to move on from endlessly reinvestigating Watergate. At least Ford did this well before the 1976 election so people could base their vote on whether they approved of Ford’s pardon, and it may well have (or even probably) cost Ford reelection in 1976. Carter’s pardoning draft dodgers was sort of similar.
But this thing of Biden issuing all these preemptive pardons on the way out the door is a terrible precedent. Ironically it probably helps Trump by making Biden and his crew look like a gang of criminals (why pardon if not guilty?) and also diverting Trump from wasting his time and political capital investigating and prosecuting yesterday’s has-beens. Trump will be better off spending his effort doing things and changing policy, which will affect the future economy and political system, rather than just settling scores.
But, yes, either court (or an amendment) should end these preemptive pardons, especially as a President is on the way out the door. If Biden wanted to pardon Fauci he should have done it in September and for specific acts.
It needs to end, the EUA (emergency usage agreement )means that subscribing countries have come under the rulership of these people, the presidential pardon can't possibly count in this new agreement.
Unconstitutional because the sitting / acting president was already declared MENTALLY UNFIT to stand trial...
The Supreme Court should immediately revoke every EO, every agreement, EVERY SINGLE PARDON byden wrote, or was coerced to write!
Investigations into j6 committee members, Dr falsey, the byden crime family, gates involvement with the "vaccines," and internal audits on EVERY MEMBER of CONGRESS & the SENATE on where they made their millions from!

I hate how Dr Prasad takes RFK’s statements demanding proper studies and trials, and his successful lawsuits exposing lies about certain “research” being fraudulent, and take it to mean that he believes whatever the opposition position is. I appreciate much of Dr Prasad pushing the (later) conversation of covid response but he’s the one who will start his “college kids don’t need “two” shots, “one would have been fine” while also he’s aware of all the fraudulent activities surrounding any claims of benefit and even more aware of the dangers to college students, yet he starts his criticism at +1 experimental jab.

I’m a pharmacist nearing the end of my career. The profession I entered in the 80’s no longer exists. In the 80’s television advertising of drugs was illegal, and steering patients to particular healthcare facilities was also illegal. I’ve spent most of my career in hospitals and watched as checklist medicine became the norm. The art of medicine has all but disappeared. It is the payor that dictates the practice now and not the clinician. No amount of well-designed, double blinded studies can bring back the human element to medicine. And our collective health is suffering for it.

I've always thought the Lab Leak Hypothesis was the most likely explanation for SARS CoV 2. Now that the CIA agrees, I may have to re-evaluate my opinion.

There was a DNA sequence match between Covid and a certain Biotech company's patent from 2016 w/a 1 in 3 trillion chance of occurring in nature by coincidence.
Factoring in that the CIA, who has roughly a 1 in 3 trillion chance of telling us the truth, says it was a lab leak. Then add to the equation that Joe (the former trucker whose Uncle Bosie was eaten by cannibals) didn''t want to release that report.....now I'm back to lab leak, final answer
I wonder when the CIA will take this next. Surely the true origin in their version will be anywhere but this many labs they themselves have operated since the 1940s. Then what about those many supposed covert US labs in Ukraine? It’s no secret that CIA and our often corrupt government uses private industry to hide their uglier programs from us . Lockheed Martin , General Dynamics and more recently Ecohealth Alliance all stand out in this regard. Let’s find out who was “ enhancing, Weaponizing or more politely stated doing gain of function” on what came BEFORE, namely the SARS Covid 2 virus.🤔🤔. This didn’t happen overnight and many smell a big rat before it left the USA in 2014 and handed over to of all people communist China🤨

I remember going into a doctor's office and seeing a big display for Voltaren. I was having back pain, and ironically, the doctor recommended Voltaren. I remember feeling really off put by that because it was obvious that the doctor was receiving some benefit for recommending it. Surprise, Voltaren didn't work for my back pain, and to be completely honest, I've never found that medicine to be effective for any of my muscle or joint related inflammation.
Anyway, I love that you're talking about these issues because not many people are.

As someone who held leadership roles at my University, I generally did these for 1-2 terms at MOST. To do otherwise invites stagnation. Moreover, to do otherwise hurts younger staff people who could move up in university leadership (succession planning).

I think we need more people that are impassioned about the truth, and evolution. Robert Kennedy does not shy away from questions. He is also capable of admitting when he doesn’t have the answer to a question. That alone makes him better suited for the position than any political pundit. He is also equipped with access to information and social networks that allow him to make real changes.

Two quick points: 1) re: Faucci. He went straight from fellowship to NIH, which means he’s never had ultimate responsibility for the treatment of a single patient. When he says “we physicians,” he’s lying.
2) re: RFK. Never forget that he’s a plaintiff’s lawyer first and foremost. While he may make some good points, he makes them in service to the plaintiffs bar, who pay him millions. Even casual remarks by the HHS secretary could affect the outcomes of product liability suits. We don’t want anyone in that office who stands to profit from that influence. You ask, if not RFK, who? I can’t name names, but my answer is, “not some sleazy tort lawyer.”
And a bonus point: your remarks on resume vs eulogy are spot-on. Thanks for that.
