And, here I am again, 2-years later, watching old MORR videos, because it is sooooo much better than what I have on the 1000+channels on Xfinity Cable tonight.... Thanks for these, they really are timeless. Fun to relive the adventures!!

July 23 here now, I started at the beginning and working my way through em all. Though I cheated and watched the morrvair build first, then the wrecker, now everything else while I wait for more bombi action! Not much for recoveries lately, I really hope they ramp things up again! Heck I'd go work for Matt if I could

I agree but even before I saw this comment I was wondering what happens when these guys hit their limit and lose it. The patience you have to do what you do is unbelievable. I know how difficult it can be just to try to figure out how to flip a car back over or a big rig. Kudos to Jamie for going out in the middle of the night and rolling a big spare tire up that was bigger than she was. I have watched this a couple of times and it is increible that you were able to get your Jeep up past the stranded truck and turn it around on a rocky, narrow trail like this one, weld on parts on the side of the hill, in the dark, and then get all this stuff off the mountain in the dark safely. Your whole team of trail warriors is the best.

When I first got in the fire department some 46 years ago, our brush truck was amilitary spec Dodge Power Wagon. I have thought for years that 'Unit 18' was the most bad-ass 4WD ever built...it made it''s own roads regularly and was occasionally special called to pull other, lesser brush trucks out of the woods when they got stuck. I do believe 'The Banana' out-bad-asses old '18' (Which, BTW was also painted yellow!). That little Jeep Cherokee will go anywhere!

Mat something you might want to try.. on your Yankum Rope. I used to use this when towing as it made it so much easier on the rope dragging on the road and stopping the over run. I used 8 mm bungee shock cord and carabinas at either end. Loop one end through the eye of the Yankum Rope and about every 4 or 5 feet put a half hitch untill you reach the other end and put it through the eye and back round itself with a carabina to keep it safe from undoing itself. It saved a few of my ropes over the years. Im not telling you how to do your job but every day is a school day even for Ed.. Cheers from Scotland.

@@shockingguy Hi im sorry i dont have any pictures as i lost them in a failed hard drive along with many more. What i did was to stretch out our Yankum rope between two jeeps and measure it extended tight. Tie loop in the bungee cord. Put it through the end eye in the Yankum rope use a carabina or shackle to fix back on its self. Then pull tight for about 4 foot and put a half hitch knot keeping it tight another 4 foot and half hitch knot until you reach the second eye in the rope. Keeping it in tension all the way. Cut the Bungee cord and tie a knot making a second eye in it. Use a second carabina through the eye and back on the bungee cord. Dont cut is short as you dont want to snap it under heavy pulling/recovery. By making it Quick removable mans it is not used in short recovery. It works brilliantly in a dead tow or a long tow to a road. It stops the rope dragging on the ground and most of all over run by the towed vehicle. It helps with snatching on the tow. I could add or remove it in just over a minute. I now duplicate the pictures and videos i cant replace...
