Whenever I smiled, it always looked like half of my face was smiling. I did this for a week and noticed small changes were occurring. Then the second week of doing this, my smile is symmetrical! I suggest this for anyone looking to have a symmetrical smile just remember that this does take time. It took me two weeks to see results so you know how long it took me. :)
I corrected my asymmetrical smile by smiling really hard with just one side of my mouth. I saw a difference in 2 days. Now it's asymmetrical the other way, lol. But yeah, it was easy and fast. Now I'm gonna do it with the other side and once it's equal with both. Helps with making the corners of the lips turn upward too. Edit: turns out it's not permanent yet, it's asymmetrical again in the original way.

Okay so here’s my “story” lmao, so a long time ago (3 years ago I think) there was this model on Instagram that I liked and whenever he smiled his smile was kind of one sided, and idk why I was trying to do that and I think now I’m stuck with this smile because of that, the weird thing is my smile is more on the right side but if I try to do it on the left I can’t,anyway I really wanna get rid of it
Just tried it, I did the exercise 3 times and then just left the pen there for 10 minutes and I see a notice difference.. i reckon if I keep doing this regularly I'd have lasting results 😅 amazing x
Thank you so much, I have been racking my brain trying to figure out why I have such a crooked smile in photos and appear to talk out the side of my mouth at times. The atrophy of one side is a simple explanation that I missed. I would worry endlessly that I suffered a stroke at some point and had some neeve damage. After trying it out, I feel like I'm going to be sore on the weaker side!! Finally a simple explanation with a promising solution. I really hope to see results in the near future. Thanks again! -Crooked Grin
I'm wondering if it's possible that the canine teeth aren't in the right alignment...? When I put the pen behind my canine teeth it doesn't feel like it's centered. Is that a result of my facial asymmetry that I'm trying to correct or is it something that will affect my results?
Rebecca Marcus I had this issue too forever, I'm 23 now and just a few months ago I decided to see an orthodontist and they said my bite on my right side was off by half a tooth length forward so I got this apparatus installed to pull it back. Mind you I've have an asymmetrical face because I sleep and chew only on one side, didn't put 2 and 2 together n realized all this was causing it lol. I only sleep on my left side and it caused my nose to slant a bit and my teeth to slant as well. So in the process of fixing this. And I discovered these face exercises too and just tried them and will continue daily. I am gonna stay positive and hope this works. I'm getting Invisalign too so I'll finally be able to have straight teeth AND I can finally chew on my right side now! It was strange I never knew it but my teeth didn't align properly at all on the right side and it was no wonder chewing felt odd/sensitive/painful on that side
ciao ciao Yes it did! Your english is great btw!!! I just finished my invisalign treatment less than a month ago and the results were astounding!!!!!! I actually feel so so so much better about myself and now the midline of my teeth match up perfectly!!! I know my face will not be 100% symmetrical ever but this cleared things up a lot. I also realize my nose slant is due to a deviated septum which can be fixed too. the sleeping on the left side had made it more slanted, but im currently saving up to get a small procedure done to correct it in the near future. I highly recommend checking out your options they arent overly expensive but worth every penny once you see results.
@@yungmango5194 I'm so happy for you 'cause I think confidence is one of the most important things. And I hope everything will be ok with your nose too. Thank you so much!
ciao ciao Aww thank you! Honestly i hope everything works out for you too :)) You deserve to be happy and confident as well. And tbh, the way i viewed myself was a mixture of me not being satisfied with a slanted face/nose/jawline when i looked at photos of myself, AND i was also scared that when people met me or saw me for the first time theyd notice right away my nose or teeth. All my friends say they dont notice it at all but it bothered me to the point where i had to change it. I think if theres a procedure or something you can do to fix a small imperfection or something making you unhappy then you should be 100% allowed to fix it :)
i just realised my smile is uneven..again, tonight. so i googled and found you on youtube. hopefully the exercise is working for me. thanks for the tip.
What you are saying makes sense. However, the side of my mouth I used to have to move more (because I had bad teeth on the other side) droops down when I smile. Which I find strange. I'm so excited to see there's a potential solution!
Thank you so much. I was recently diagnosed with a type of muscle cancer in my neck area last year in Sept. I have always noticed a slight unevenness in my smile but since my tumor was removed using, the side my tumor was on, was hard. I can’t yawn. I never eat on that side. I even have to go through pt because my neck muscles are so bad. I wanted to learn naturally how to correct my smile. Finally found it 😁

does the less exercised side will be fatter and chubbier than the other well trained side? because my chewing side is more defined and slim, while the never-use side is fatter and chubbier.
Just wanted to say, Thank you! Your video helps! And I do tend to eat on one side of my face due to bad teeth. But now I know to work those muscles! I can't Wait to see my new results !
I've had braces for a year and 6 months now and I'm sure that my braces are the reason why the corners of my lips are uneven. When I smile, the left corner is normal but the right corner is kinda like a square ( also a bit downward ). I hope those exercises will help because I'm really insecure about my smile now..
my smile is slightly uneven and it looks soooo fake even when i smile i mean it,i try to practice smiling through the mirror but doesnt work.i dnt knoiw if this help my smile become more natural. i know i cnt be success in life without having a welcome smile, i dnt have many friends and less chance on job bc of this problem. please help :(
did it work? I have a stronger smile on left meaning stronger smile line and weaker on right , it makes it look slanted , I am very worried , did U see any visible results? thanks
This is amazing! Thank You! I didn't even realize until today I wasn't using the muscles in one side of my face. My entire bite was off. This will probably help with my neck pain and how I'm always going out of alignment.
I cant smile with my teeth so im stuck with smiling with my mouth closed. the problem i have with smiling with my mouth closed is one side of my mouth is longer than the other and its really asymmetrical. will this video help stretch the other side of my lips? please reply as soon as you can thankyou :)
My dumbself thought canine teeth were the back teeth🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ i was here tryna find a comment like "am i the only one whos pen doesnt fit in my mouth"
When I put the pencil behind my teeth, I also am not symmetrical from my upper jaw/canine line. The pencil itself is sloping down on the right side (my upper left jaw is higher than my right and my lips are following that line so the right side of my mouth is lower). I guess I'm going to have to go to an orthodontist. I will try these exercises though!
+Miranda Lee Richards I have this as well, and normally you would have to do surgery to fix this which an orthodontist plans out for you. Did you go to the orthodontist, and try these exercises? If so, did they work? I'd really love to know so it would be great if you could reply!!
I realised from pictures and filters that that I have hella straight teeth but my smile was quite asymmetrical, which brought it down. I wanted to fix it so I've been doing this for about 2 weeks and I'm so pleased with the results, my smile is basically symmetrical and looks so good now that when i take a flipped photo I mistake it for the unflipped one XD The only down side is that I had braces, so I realised having the pen constantly behind my canines is causing movements in my teeth so be wary of that, try not to bite down as hard on the pen and do it as often when ur happy with results ^^
I don't usually comment on videos but if ur here u must be like me and realised your smile isn't symmetrical and wanted to change it, and I know I looked in the comments before I did it so I wanted to help out anyone I could by warning them :) It's so worth it tho cuz we don't realise often our smiles are asymmetrical because the mirror deceives us and now I've done it I'm more confident and look better, now I'm trying other forms of facial yoga!!! good luck guys :3

+Melissa Tremblay it also hurts me sometimes but it does work. My mouth is also very uneven but if you keep doing it, it will go away. Sorry for my bad English 😂
hi fumiko-san i would love to try it but the problem is i have crook canine teeth which is slightly forward than the others can i still do that plzzzzzzz reply....
You didn't explain if you're supposed to bite down on the pen or use your facial muscles to keep it in place...I'm guessing it's the latter, but you failed to mention.
I'm going to try this. I'm in front of the camera a lot my crooked jaw was very noticeable to me once. Made me cringe. I've been really looking for some healthy results without having to spend so much money on surgery. I will start this tonight
***** Hi! Some people see results right away, even after one practice! But after 2 weeks of practice most people will see results. Please note that measuring facial changes is very different from measuring body changes which are easy to track with scales and other measuring devices. The results on the face are much more subtle and appear slowly over time.
+Face Yoga Method please tell if this will fix uneven smile lines or slanted/uneven smiles in general ? please!!? I have a smile where the left side of lip is a lil higher and stronger smile line ? I am very worried please help? If I have strong smile lines of left , should I use tight side more? or left side more?
I will try this! My smile has been lopsided for a long time. I asked my mom, and she says it may be due to a head injury when I was three or so...hopefully this still works!

These features don’t define our worth or our beauty.

Yes
it works on the first try, I can feel the muscles around my lips. I'm gonna do this every day for a month
this really works, thank you!

BabyRay T Hi! Let me know what you think after practicing for a while. Keep up the good work!
@@yungmango5194 I have the same problem now so I wanted to ask you if this worked for you. Sorry for the english but I'm italian
ciao ciao Yes it did!
You really changed my life. Thank you.😇😇😇
Sanjida Sharmin how has it helped you please
It really worked?? How many days did u tried ??
What you are saying makes sense. However, the side of my mouth I used to have to move more (because I had bad teeth on the other side) droops down when I smile. Which I find strange. I'm so excited to see there's a potential solution!
Am I suppose to bite down when i place the pen be hind my teeth? Or am I suppose to use my facial muscle to hold it in place.
Can't believe it's so accurate when she said that I might be chewing with just one side
Thank you Fumiko! I feel that cant smile with one side as high as with the other. The mouth corner on one side is much droopier, what can you suggest?

Tifffanyyy HI! Thank you for watching!
I have un even face cut...one side makes my face cut square and the other side is small make v shape cut...plz help me I m vry upset
I've had braces for a year and 6 months now and I'm sure that my braces are the reason why the corners of my lips are uneven. When I smile, the left corner is normal but the right corner is kinda like a square ( also a bit downward ). I hope those exercises will help because I'm really insecure about my smile now..
Omg I’m 2 years into my braces and my right side corner flops down a little too!!!
For some reasons this is actually working on me.
How did it go? it worked?
Same like it slowly is doing things

+Adriana Veliz did it work
Yes! I keep a pencil in my car and when I am driving I use it. It is easier then doing it at home for me. It also help with my TMJ problem.
did it work? I have a stronger smile on left meaning stronger smile line and weaker on right , it makes it look slanted , I am very worried , did U see any visible results? thanks
+Adriana Veliz does it make a permanent change or just temporary?
is it fully even yet?
Thank you so much! I've had this problem all my life!
Do you know if this makes your lips bigger. I’ve been doing it for a for weeks now and my lips seem bigger
Hi! This is more about symmetry but yes you can plump your lips with Face Yoga! bit.ly/3cJXNlJ
You have right! I don't use my left side for eat, and this cause asymetrical face.
Thanks for video!
You have a new subscriber😆!
Ion Popescu any change you got in last 3 months?
Is it normal if I feel sore only on the right side of my mouth like my jaw?
This is amazing! Thank You! I didn't even realize until today I wasn't using the muscles in one side of my face. My entire bite was off. This will probably help with my neck pain and how I'm always going out of alignment.
okay guys i'll try it. i'll let you know about the effects in the comments!
Please do, we would love to hear the feedback!
So what are the results?
I really hope this works! I've been self conscious about this issue for years!
I cant smile with my teeth so im stuck with smiling with my mouth closed. the problem i have with smiling with my mouth closed is one side of my mouth is longer than the other and its really asymmetrical. will this video help stretch the other side of my lips?
please reply as soon as you can thankyou :)
jasmin hernandez same😂😂
jasmin hernandez same!
jasmin hernandez same!!
Miranda Lee Richards I went to a orthodontist and it s gonna cost €3.000.
Okay I'm going to try it let's see what happened?
Thank you for your feedback, Steve, glad you are enjoying it 😊
hi, please tell some facial exercise to retrain my smile muscles after bell's palsy as its bit difficult to regain control on my upper lip muscles on affected side. my upper lip moves upward on affected side and my smile become asymmetrical. i'll be highly thankful to u. plzzzzzzzzzz help me.
I've had bells. omg this is working. I do it everyday multiple times a day in sets of 5-10 and in only 1 week.im seeing major results. hope this does the same 4 you.
+celia duarte so basically this exercise do work even if you have bells :o?
Can you do a video about how to smile more symmetrical with your eyes? Thank you.
I have a very uneven mouth. Can't wait to see if this works for me! How often should this exercise be done? Can I do it more than once per day? Thank you. :)
please reply, did it work?
+Captain Possible it worked for me
+Josephine Munoz How long did it take to work? been about 3 weeks and it seemed to be working if I left the pencil in for one hour but my jaw was hurting due to TMJ ....
+Melissa Tremblay it also hurts me sometimes but it does work. My mouth is also very uneven but if you keep doing it, it will go away. Sorry for my bad English 😂
Oh no problem sweetheart
When we chew food on one side predominantly, which side cheek appears fuller ( the overused side or the less used side
hi fumiko-san i would love to try it but the problem is i have crook canine teeth which is slightly forward than the others can i still do that plzzzzzzz reply....
Really good one..i see it working quicker than i thought and exactly why the pencil thingie works ! Thanks
thank you! this one is simple and it works! :)
Did it work for you?
You didn't explain if you're supposed to bite down on the pen or use your facial muscles to keep it in place...I'm guessing it's the latter, but you failed to mention.
Does this help make the lips symmetrical I know this video is old but of anyone who knows can reply and thank you
idk sorry
Yaseen Al Yes it also fixes gummy smiles
Thanks for replying :)
I am trying this yoga today and i will conintinuosly do this for 1 week. I will give my update after 1 week. I will share my honest experience.
this is great lol but now every time i see a stick i wanna bite it
I don't know what to say
I'm going to try this. I'm in front of the camera a lot my crooked jaw was very noticeable to me once. Made me cringe. I've been really looking for some healthy results without having to spend so much money on surgery. I will start this tonight
+Kendra Ann did you get any results?
How much time does it take to see the results ?
***** Hi! Some people see results right away, even after one practice! But after 2 weeks of practice most people will see results. Please note that measuring facial changes is very different from measuring body changes which are easy to track with scales and other measuring devices. The results on the face are much more subtle and appear slowly over time.
Thank you Fumiko-san! :D i will be trying this everyday for a while
would it work with the pencil even if I have an uneven teeth?please reply:(
+TiaraLuv969 Yes, try for the pencil to be straight
+Face Yoga Method Does the pencil excersize works for slightly misaligned jaws?
+Face Yoga Method please tell if this will fix uneven smile lines or slanted/uneven smiles in general ? please!!? I have a smile where the left side of lip is a lil higher and stronger smile line ? I am very worried please help? If I have strong smile lines of left , should I use tight side more? or left side more?
I will try this! My smile has been lopsided for a long time. I asked my mom, and she says it may be due to a head injury when I was three or so...hopefully this still works!

Thanks so much I can't already tell a difference !

why does my face look different from the back camera? i really wanna know someone help pls
I always loved my smile until I used the inverted filter on tiktok and realised my face is not symmetrical and my smile is ugly. Like on one side of my face my smile is lovley but on the other side it’s rly ugly and I’ve been getting rly insecure 😞 I hope this works
Hi Kyra!
It's practically impossible to be 100% symmetrical, the Face Yoga Method has never been about eliminating your wrinkles or putting any less value on a face with asymmetry - rather, this Method is about devoting time and attention to the parts of you that need it and working on yourself through love and dedication. These features don’t define our worth or our beauty.
Try doing a full split (one leg forward, one behind) to align spine, jaw and face.
Welcome :)
Wow this is exactly what I need! My mouth looks a bit crooked, probably because as a teen I chewed gum on one side all the time .. (don't do that, kids)
