Old guy Kawi expert talking about 73/74 Kawi differences vs the 75s while standing next to a 'Harley Country' sign. This is why I recommend this channel to everyone that's into motorcycles.
Thank you!! We’re definitely are into pretty much everything with two wheels🤣😂🤣
Sweet; I own a super clean 75’ Z1b. I’ll bet I got a better deal than you. The seller had no idea what the bike was worth. I felt guilty and paid her twice the asking price of $35.00. 😎
I replaced the battery, tires, chain and sprockets and cleaned the carbs. 14k on the clock and she runs like a bat out of hell. Doesn’t it compare to a modern sportbike, no but it will run a 12.3 @112 mph quarter. Not bad for a bike that’s 45 years old.
Yea Mate what a snip … no one can beat that price . Has it got the original 4 pips with the baffles out ? .. is so , the best sound of any motorcycle ever,
Can’t believe the baffles are still in those pipes … best sound of any motorcycle ever with them out.
I guess you have never heard any MODERN bikes... this old school stuff is CRAP!
Harley Davidson 's sound like Brigs and Stratton lawnmower 's. I prefer the Formula 1 sound of Japanese in line fours any day
Nice ride. I bought a brand new 1975 Z1 900 Kawasaki and that is the one motorcycle that I wish I would have kept. The Z1 designation started in 1973 and ran through 1975 and then they went to the KZ models for 1976 production.
Did a total ground up rebuild on my sons 75 z1 with a 1075 kit powder coated frame and parts , eastwood black paint for the motor , tank lined from fuel tank services in Florida, tac an speedo rebuilt by the best BOB - ITS all he does is z1 an kz instruments , z1enterpize has alot of new parts that was needed , kerker header , redline kawasaki parts had a good set of smoothbore carbs that took the bike from it's ok To 'HOT DAM ' its alive now .I just wonder if the new Kawasaki's are gonna be around as long as these great bikes
Don't twist the throttle to start a kaw 900 ! Just set the choke wide open for cold starts !
Gorgeous! I had the same, green 74 Z1. (KZ didn't start till 76. Z1 was years prior to this rename)
Me too
👍
The 75 didn't have caps on the bottom of bowls ! I had one ! If you wanted that you bought 29mm smooth bores ! To replace the factory 28mm carbs !
A 1974 KAWASAKI 900 cc MOTORCYCLE IS NOT A KZ 900. IT'S A Z1
NO NEED TO YELL ABOUT IT! 😂
It's a beautiful bike, this one and the Honda 750 four
I had a 1970 Honda 750 K0 and a 1978 Kawasaki Z1000. Miss them both today.
73 s 74s and half way thru 75 they were z1a those bike had 28 mm flat top carb's second half of 75 they were z1b then 76 came the kz's the z1b and kz's had smaller carbs they were 26 mm
Correctamundo.
In England we never had this Kay Zee designated rubbish, just Zed. Looked so much smarter on the side panels to.
**KAWASAKI LETS DA GOOD TIMES ROLL = YEAH!!!**
**BEAUTIFUL WHITE BONNEVILLE - CAN'T WAIT FOR IT'S VIDEO!!!**
La plus belle,🙂❤👍👍👍👍
these old bikes always remind me of the film mad max, classic bike and film.
Totally!
I loved this video!Keep them coming.
She is a beauty
Great find.. I miss my 75 Z1B
Nice score dude, wouldn't it be nice to find one every day.
I’d even be happy with one a month lol
Yep, that would pay the bills.
Lucky you
Beautiful bike, test drove one that year .. My 73 h2 was being serviced at the time...dumb stupid me like 4 years later sold it😱😥
I’m afraid to even ask what you sold it for back then😬
@@MasonGeorgeMotorcycles for $ 900 even had a windjammer on it, but sold the fairing separate, to this day I still regret it..
Z1A the 900 decals give it away. Modern day Z900RS' look crap with that void between seat and rear wheel. Nuff said.
Nice score Mason! Keep em coming.👍😁
I have one just like it. The seat is torn in the same place.
He sold his bike he owned for more than thirty years. That would have really, really hurt.
**HOW BOUT A THUNDERBIRD!!!**
Winna Winna Chicken 🍗 Dinna!
I found another one a few months back and drove all the way to Oregon to get it!
Looks fast standing still 😮😮😮!
Timeless Beauty
This guy is weirder than a Yamaha with two front wheels.
Agreed!!
I just saw same one guy bought new wont part for less than 25 k i beat mine up every day 😎💀
I needs a new fuelinflobinator!
😂😂😂
Pssst, those are not the original mirrors...
its a Z1900 not a KZ they were 1975 on
KZ came out in 76
That is not a KZ ! THAT is a Z1
Раньше техника была лучше!
Its a K zed
Sweet z
Thank you!
It’s a Z1…..not a KZ…….
Yup!
Super rare is the 72 z900
Is it for sale then?
Sold
This is may drims...USSR, 1975.
Quit calling it a KZ..D.b.A×s..wake up if ur doing a video on such a rare Z-1
Do I hear the sound of jealousy in your voice? 😂
1) it’s not a K Zee, it’s pronounced K Zed in English , if your gonna speak our language at least get it right
I haven’t cared about your opinion since 1776 😂
@@MasonGeorgeMotorcycles that must be why you have an 18th century moustache
I've got a buddy who has one of these. He seems to think it's worth 15,000. I just laugh.
If it’s nice it could be worth more
Can't believe people want this old CRAP..... yep CRAP. It's obviously desired only by people that can't ride for sheeet! I owned this crap back in the day and am soooooo glad for ADVANCED technology I now have.
I find that most collectors have at least a couple modern bikes in they’re stable… in fact, I don’t think anybody’s buying these bikes for performance lol
