Since knowledge also affects casting speed and spell memory. You should take sage instead of the 10% spell casting boost since it's the same but you get more memory.

Right after watching like half the pvp, I fended off my first player with sheer jukes and a few fireballs, feels good finally instead of just getting 2-3hit and slaughtered right away. Cheers.
Yeah I am not completely new as I have a level 42 fighter, but that's still pretty new. This was helpful because I want to play some other characters and wizard seems so fun. watching my teammate play it. This was really helpful in explaining why you chose certain things as well because my teammate is a legit gamer and dominates everything he touches and I am a casual old dude player. LOL. One thing that I would love is maybe where you put things in inventory. What buttons control spells, etc an how you recommend switching things when fighting and all. In any case, this was helpful so thank you.
Been getting reps in the last week on this build in under25 norms, and then doing some geared norms and a couple high roller for quests. Boy, the PvE on this class is abysmal for high roller. I have an Epic Crystal Sword and it's taking 4-6 strikes to kill goblins. It makes a lot of sense to just do geared normals where you can focus on the pvp aspects of the class and not have to worry about spending half the round clock doing mobs. If you were to invest more gold in the build, where would you put more focus on? I decided to splurge some on higher rarity cheaper pieces to get Agility/Will boosts Thanks again for the guide, unfortunate that the video inflates the build costs by 50+% haha
Might be a dumb question (I'm new) but is there a reason a spell will charge but not fire? Not sure if I'm out of the spell or if I'm doing something wrong lol thanks for this video btw. Wizard is a fun class for sure, now I just gotta stop dying to mobs lol
I know your beginner guide was centered around cleric but are you doing a stand alone video for that class in this style? Interested to hear your updated thoughts on gearing priorities and such
As great of a guide as this is, im dissapointed people arent stacking the stat their class most has, it just seems to be who can stack the most HP and the most MS atm. great guide tho
This video has confirmed how I feel as a fighter meeting a wizard ;-; . I also feel the same about druids, I get into a fight with one and they just panther triple jump into casting and I can never get to em. What are you even supposed to do against the class?
Good tips, I felt utterly clueless in my first tries. One question though: What exactly is the difference between staffs and spellbooks that makes the latter more ideal for spellcasting post low levels? Just the lower move speed reduction?
@@Firebox720 also in tight spaces the staff can get blocked like crouch height ares or sometimes you may hit something. usually doesnt happen when i have the spell book
Hey man great video. I'm wondering why you did not fireball the barb in the end when he was stuck? You had a lot of Invis spells to deaggro any mobs. Im new to wizard, maybe im missing something here
I’m confused bc ignite did not self cast for me? When my friend plays wizard and uses ignite on me I saw flames on my weapon but when im playing wizard I saw no flames in my staff…
Can't recall if I died during these games or not anymore, but I leave the live VODS available here on youtube of most gameplay you see here on my channel for all pvp cut out includes wins and deaths

i dont think 10% knowledge gives 10% cast speed. it gives a bonus but not 1 to 1

I think sage is just better than quickcast you are basically getting close to the same cast speed anyways

when he was near the door, if i fireball and splash hits it the door opens and he runs away
