How did you get access to game early?

Been playing for a couple of days now, has been fun. I like the skill trees and such and auction house is super easy to use. Gameplay and graphics are good and it has a good overall feel. And this is just a beta, and not a huge amount of bugs. So far so good, thanks for introducing me to it.

post dark and darker has just been poorly made unreal 5 games imo. they look and run poorly, UI's are basic and ugly, and the gameplay speaks for itself. no Firebox hate, just not enjoying these games at all

I have been fucking dying for a souls like pvp game to be made, fuck DaD, 3rd person PvP can be balanced to have depth whereas 1rst person can't.

I'm sure DaD folks will also talk about how this is also an "arcadey phone game" as well.

Diamond Rank but enemies are unranked, gold4, bronze1, silver3... basically beginners.. I dont know why this great game is not having any matchmaking at all. Seems superweird to me

Only gripes i have are just personal. I dont like 3rd person games that are based around pvp. I also dont like the storm aspect for extraction type games simply because it limits players new or vets from being able to fully loot a area. Especially new players who will have to spend more time healing and fighting. A storm in these types of games kinda pushes players to just speed run the best loot spots because youre limited on how long you can be in any one place. Also havent fully made it through the video so you make figure it out later but all 3rd person games should have some sort of lockon at least for pve. I can understand that for ranged classes auto lock would be broken. But if there is a way to allow auto lock for only pve i would like it better. Game looks super cool though, and i love that each weapon has its own talkents/abilites. Makes you feel like you can actually switch up your play style without chaging classes completely

This game has just reinforced my love for DaD even though I’ve not played for a month. If DaD can just add a skill tree for classes and random dungeon layouts the game will feel so fresh. No need for new maps and bosses just ways to customise classes. For example on warlock -5% cast speed for +5%action speed. Fighter having skill trees that make there non meta abilities adrenaline rush have its negative affect reduced by 75%. Cleric being able to use a sword and stuff like that. The replay ability of DaD would be through the roof.

so its 3rd person dark and darker. Honestly the main reason i didnt like dark and darker was the combat felt really stiff especially for Melee classes who had to run at ranged characters. There was no combos or really any skills to use as for any class besides like 2 each? I feel like this game will be received better if they can make the AI track better and have them move around more. Archers and mages should try to run from you and actively look for you when your behind cover. Melee characters should try to block more and not just W key into ranged attacks. So far the game looks promising ill defiantly have to give it more time to see how i feel about everything. 3rd person is much better overall in a non FPS game give you a little more options with combat then just sword swinging.
