  • In depth look at the Cross Engineering Elephant beet chopper. I take the drone up to look around the machine in operation and show each section and the whole process from loading whole beet to collecting chopped beet at the end of the process.
    Elsewhere, the Red Tractor audit took place without any issues or feedback.
    Jamie, Tony and Ant continue in the workshop working on the Bailey bowser, and Jamie’s 6R250.
    At the end of the day we check in on Will Hammond’s progress when it comes to reversing a trailer 👀😆

    Nice job explaining the washer/chopper 👌👍. We used to be a big area for sugar beet back when I was a kid. Used to see the wagons rolling in full of the stuff.

      @@charlesorton2736 this particular beet is being fed into an anaerobic digester - cleaned to prevent stones and mud being fed, chopped to increase surface area of feed material and encourage faster breakdown of the beet.
      A lot of dairy farmers would chop beet as well before feeding cattle, some feed whole and then there are farms that grow beet and graze livestock on the beet fields

    What’s this we here mot for tractor and trailers as now 40kph 🚜+ ? What happens to chopped beet ?
