Using lego pieces to make a little square for straight lines? GENIUS!
These techniques are brilliant! The Seam tape for the fence was genius! Thanks for the idea!!
Glad it was helpful! I was using 3D printed mesh for fence before and I had all that time mesh seam tape in my house. Sometimes you have stuff around you all the time but you don't realise that you can use it.
@@WhattoRepair true that! Great thinking! I’m into kitbashing and prop design along with 1/64th scale matchbox dioramas as well. Love seeing what everyone builds here on UA-cam. Keep up the awesome work!
Oh, great. I like your content, you have new sub.
@@WhattoRepair thank you! Our channel is mostly about cars and small projects but I have started recording some of my prop making and kitbashing and make another playlist 😁👍🏽
What a great eye for detail. Great job on recycling old cardboard.
Thanks.
Wow this is an amazing great piece of art! Like it much! 👍👍🤝
Like how you are using that cardboard to make it look like tin for a roof and the siding and don't listen to those naysayers ignore them
This is a w video
😮vonito😊
I love wtaching diorama builds, this one is incredible! Rip to all the cars that contributed
Yes😅
Outstanding work and very realistic. I got so many ideas to apply in my own work. Thanks! Greetings from Switzerland. 🍁☕👍
Thank you. I'm glad that my work can be inspirative to someone who is also very skilled like you.
Great work!!!!
Thank you!
Beautiful👍🏾 American Diorama makes great figures in different scales and themes. Theyd go great with this!!
I know for American Diorama figures and I like some of them but they are somewhat expensive to me. Shipping can be up to 30 usd, plus price of figures, one pack can cost up to 50 usd in my country, in Serbia. Problem is that some figures from 6-pack are usable to me and some are not. Sometimes I see pack where I can use only one figure. So right now I'm looking for good models for 3D printing. Diecast metal is better but 3D printing is cheaper and figures can be very nice.
That a good way to display toys in windows
I learned some new stuff.Thank you. I will apply it to 1:87. Love using whatever I have laying around for modeling.
Excellent build and some very helpful tips..thanks for sharing
great diorama.😃
Thanks 😀
One word for the whole thing.. FANTASTIC !!!
33:25 I found "that" red Porsche👀
The painting aspect of the project was off chain , Excellent Job !
Thank you.
Very very realistic built. 10 out of 10!
Brilliant job buddy. Like your attention to detail. Like it!!!

What a unussual building model technics!!! So inspirated bro!!!
Yes I liked the way he done the building😊
Phenomenal build. The video was nice to watch and inspirational as well.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very cool, I like it
Glad you like it
Love your parts bin. Very amusing video.
Nice work. Love the fencing design 👍🏽😎
“No cars were hurt in the making of this video”
The red hotwheels ferrari 430 they stopped making them and its pretty expensive if it was good condition but its bent😢😢
Good one lol 😂
What an awesome diorama. I got a ton of ideas from this. Thanks for sharing!
Glad you liked it!
Very inspiring. Great stuff here. Incredible customs and so much more. Next level stuff.
Thank you.
Awesome build. Definitely combining some of these techniques & my model rail hobby to build a junkyard switching layout 💪
Glad you like it!
Looks real!
Very very nice 😮👍👍👍
Thanks for the visit
Really neat project , especially being a salvage yard I would really like to make one myself but I am going to use 1/24 scale models
I think you can use same techniques for any scale. Just cut junk into larger pieces. 😄
Very nice work! Thank you for the Lego tips 😉👍
What a load of junk!
Awesome diorama sir, the car crusher is great even dirt/gravel is very real looking. I live right next an old junk yard and yours pretty spot on. Great video sir!
Wow 😊😊😊
Awesome work! I have hundreds of loose cars at home and hope to make displays like this some day.. Also I have way too many new in boxes of Matchboxes i want to display as well.
Awesome 👍👍
An excellent job without a doubt. Just a suggestion, but what if you added lights and moving parts. I didn't know if you thought about that or not. It's still awesome. 😮
Yes, I'm planning to add lights. I ordered electronics online and I will record mounting process and upload video in the future. Im not sure when, but I will for sure.
@WhattoRepair super cool . Hopefully, I will see your results .
Very imaginative and clever ideas I am impressed with your thought process.
Not half bad for 40 minutes !
I was just wondering why you kept measuring the same cardboard ? For the thickness ?
Because that cardboard comes in different thickness. At the beginning I was using 1 mm cardboard for concrete paving and 2 mm for shed walls. So people can see what I was using in terms of structural strenght.
10/10 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤❤
Beautiful and lots of patience congratulations a feast for my eyes😊
Thank you! 🤗
very cool work
Very awesome hobby
It sure is
I dig it man🎉😮
Looks good!
Wow good diorama
Nice job...
I love how natural this all looks, great job
Thank you! 😊
I would recommend a shifter for your loose material when spreading it, makes it easier and any left over can easily be put back
This is incredible, nice work! Subscribed 😉
Thank you for subscription.
No problem
Tebrik ediyorum harika bir droma oldu elinize sağlık 👏👏👏👏👏👍
I really like this only thing I would add is like barrels for fluids like gas oil a spot for the workers and a scale when you first pull in
Amazing, your diorama is brilliant!!!
6:08 that’s a smart way to use Legos
It looks great.
Junk junk junk 😍
Thank you very much 😊
Awesome work got a new subscriber
Thanks for subbing
Wicked cool
I have picked a lot of tips with this build 🙏
You’re crazy
Awesome to watch.
Nice work
Awesome work.
Full watch and share.
New subscriber to you today.

Big like 👍.
Thanks for the sub!
I was thinking you were going to glue a magnet in the center of the claw and then dip it into the metal pieces so they would stick randomly to the magnet and look like it grabbed a big bunch of metal in its claw.
I was thinking about magnet too, but I decided for this solution. I even have second attachment for this "crane", it's real magnet in circular shape, but I forgot to take pictures of it.
❤❤
On enameled die cast, like the knuckle boom loader, spray it with a matte clear before weathering. Helps with washes especially.
Good advice. I have problems with weathering sometimes, it's too glossy. I didn't think I could use a matte spray.
@@WhattoRepair I use it when I want to weather hot wheels and keep the factory paint. Best to disassemble, it will make the windows fogged like shower door glass.
@@russellknight5288 Yes, because of solvents in spray.
💕
Love how he reused the broken cars he had around
Made out of 2nd hand toys from goodwill
Perfetto
love the build but disappointed on not a word spoken
I'm sorry but english is not my native language and I think I still have fear that my accent will sound pretty bad. Although I have better accent than many youtubers. I will probably start to record voice soon, because people want that.
Video speaks for itself👍🏻
37:33 Poor knight rider 😞
Fab !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice build but ....saying what you are doing would help with following along
Keep finding myself asking "ok ..whats that" or .."what are you doing that for?"
were did you buy that crimp roller from please i would to buy one thank you.
I bought it on Aliexpress. It is used for squeezing toothpaste and other tubes, you can probably find it on other sites as well. Search "metal toothpaste tube squezeer". Watch out, it must be metal for bending aluminum cans. Because there are also cheaper plastic squeezers that can easily break.
Here is the product. If shipping is too high for your country, search another seller. But it should cost 4-5 USD together with shipping.

👍
What's that white powder you use with superglue? Does it activate the glue?
It's baking soda. Soda activates the glue instantly. I made a video about activating super glue, you can watch if you want to see how it works. Here's the video:

❤❤❤
Excellent work! What are you spraying on the corrugated carboard at 11.18 to remove the top layer?
This is just regular water. Glue in cardboard is water soluble, so when you spray water on cardboard you can remove the top layer after maybe one minute. I was spraying water again at 11:18 to remove debris of cardboard and to get clean corrugated surface.
Pretty good hand make 👍👍i love it
Would u mind share the colour no or label on the sreen , i want to make it too 🙏
On which colour do you think? For this project I used mostly cheap chinese acrylic paints, generic brands without numbering and labels. I mix paints until I get color that I like. I also use pigments for concrete and masonry that I bought in bulk at a local hardware store. I use those pigments for making acrylic paints and for weathering. They are not super fine and some of them are too coarse for airbrush, but they are great for painting landscape.
Awesome work man. Where did you get that material handler?
I found it on Ebay. But it was from China.
www.ebay.com/itm/255179780845?itmmeta=01HRM8WM1P2Q27SXFRJMXSHJQF&hash=item3b69e672ed:g:qbYAAOSw7VBhaSoo&itmprp=enc%3AAQAIAAAAwOQIAReTImE9haZ%2Bs0JKEza3LpAacFWcEY3mF86GCb9pnWaMUSjCS%2Fi0vFC4HDDtRltsZY8vW9XdQ%2FqFgtZarReoU3mkREt78fvNBRaxmaIQ9I6mg0JuefKQ%2F3Bri5SKb51dhfYAZWntb0D6Jp1kRJMLlougd3kLDKc3FkZg42ec6Xhz%2FUtHxfzlbj1jcicUpiKybrDttzg%2BG3avMuT2D%2Bzj5G9AUVV%2BSF66Rvm8aoEq8n5MRaspVgCf912FwxFN4A%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR6TB8ojFYw
How come you're putting that black water paint or whatever on stuff?
That technique is called black wash. It's very thinned black acrylic paint. When you wash something with that solution it gets some black tint when it's dried, like in nature.
the one thing that annoys me is the material handler is a 1/87 scale model
The worst loss has to be that train car
I don't think it's a loss. I found that train car on a flea market with many other junk almost free, without base and wheels, in condition as you can see in the video. I don't have railroad tracks, trains or spare parts to repair that car, so this was the best purpose I could find for it.
I need to know how you made/ got the metal fences
Watch from here 7:30 and you will see how I made the fence. Metal poles are made out of cotton ear swabs, painted with silver marker. Fence was made out of drywall joint mesh tape, also painted in silver, with silver spray paint.
What do you use for the crusher ?
Which crusher are you referring to? Both car press and scrap grinder are made from various parts, you can see in the video some of the making process. I didn't put detailed build process in this video because it would be over one hour long. I will upload separate videos with detailed car press and scrap metal grinder building process. I hope I will have time to edit video in next month.
The one when you cut the trailer put wall.e at the end I was just wondering did you used card or metal plates for it?
Too much stuff don’t look real
ضغ٩
Come on, speak a little to explain and make the video more helpful
Hot wheels Ferraris😢😢😢😢😢
Don't worry, it was Maisto Ferrari. 😉If we are thinking on the same car.
ض
wasting cars and money
Jealous?
Dont waste our time.
What do you expect? This is a junkyard so there has to be broken cars.
How is it a waste?
ultramegasupper
Awesome work! I liked your method rusting up all the scrap. The cotton bud/grating fence was genius!
