Darkness in the morning
Shadows on the land
Certain individuals
Aren't sticking with the plan
And I'm searching for a heart
Searching everyone
They say love conquers all
You can't start it like a car
You can't stop it with a gun
Leaving in the evening
Traveling at night
Staying inconspicuous
I'm staying out of sight
And I'm searching for a heart
Searching everyone
They say love conquers all
You can't start it like a car
You can't stop it with a gun
They tell me love requires a little standing in line
And I've been waiting for you, lover, for a long, long time
I've been pacing the floor
I've been watching the door
Meanwhile I'll keep searching for a heart
I’ve been searching high and low for you
Trying to track you down
Certain individuals
Have finally come around
And I'm searching for a heart
Searching everyone
They say love conquers all
You can't start it like a car
You can't stop it with a gun
They tell me love requires a little standing in line
And I've been waiting for you, lover, for a long, long time

I have adored this man since BEFORE he saved my life with his words:
"I THINK IT'S A SIN...NOT TO WANT TO LIVE." So I fought the same cancer that took my brother...
And here I am...many years later.still cancer free.
STILL ALIVE.
THANK YOU, WAZU. I HAVE A WONDERFUL HUSBAND AND 2
DAUGHTERS....BECAUSE OF YOU.
I think this was the first (maybe only) tour where he played lead guitar. He was surprisingly good at it (well, surprising to me anyway).
We're strokin out
It’s funny how Zevons career is reported as something less than it should of been? The man was so talented as a classical musician who could read music he could of always fallen back on that alone. He sure loved those Gibson acoustics
OH YEAHHHH!!! THAT MAN COULD MAKE A STEINBERGER WALK AND TALK, BARK AND SNARL, RIP AND GROWL..."ROTTWEILER BLUES"
BUT HE LEARNED HIS *PIANO* SKILLS FROM THE NEO-CLASSICAL COMPOSER IGOR STRAVINSKY...AND HIMSELF. HE TELLS THE TALE IN "PIANO FIGHTER".
@Kat Harper i only recently got onto the Steinbergers a high end copy of the Gibson’s that Everly Brothers used. Suddenly makes sense given he’d worked with the Everly Brothers
@@andrewbowen6875 Phil (or was it Don?Nah.pretty sure it was Phil. Yup. Pretty sure.) challenged WAZU to write a song about werewolves of London. That casual joke between friends..cuz Phil had the "stayin' up late" habit...AND THE REST IS ROCK HISTORY.
Is that two or three people on backing vocals?
Love the song........Hate that drummer!
