I am new to CrossFit and all the things I've seen from athletes and affiliates is that CrossFit is so much more than a few gyms, CrossFit is an entire community of people that act as a family.
CrossFit affiliates on Australia's Gold Coast got together in August 2012 and started hosting monthly throwdowns to raise money for Africa. They held their last throwdown on Saturday and raised just over $15k. Jason Khalipa and NorCal CrossFit raised enough money to build two schools and a water cistern for the people of Mkanyeni and Majengo, Kenya. They then flew to Kenya and built one of the schools themselves. CrossFit is an exception. Take your pessimistic views elsewhere. We're here to help
This guy is great, understands what things should be about than just thinking about money. Crossfit community is far better than any other sports community. I enjoy Crossfit and would like to see the company expand in the UK, i enjoy it but there aren't too many crossfit gyms in the UK mostly the cities :( i live in a little town.
Everything is great till we get to poor countries that cannot afford affiliated title. 3k price a year is not affordable for the whole world! Money is part of the game and "CrossFit" is making no exceptions.
This speaks to me, the use to others has always propelled me also. Thank you for posting!!!!
I could watch this video over, and over. What a great philosophy, and his affiliates are so lucky to have him.
I like what he said on 7:26 about business...about as simple and so dead-on as you can get! Great way to look at it!

wow, what a unique view point he has, I wish all business thought that way, the world would be a much better place.

Wiser words never spoken
Very interesting and always refreshing to hear this story!
True meaning of the American Dream and how it should be looked at

Amazing approach & paradigm.....
Freakin' phenomenal clip. Way to go, Greg.
just goes to show how many good people represent crossfit from founder to affiliates!
This is what I want to be doing someday!
Awesome
I love you man...
good talk
wish our government thought that way
Wait a minute! Is this guy rockin corn rows? Wtf!
american strength coaches dream.
I pray that someday in the future when Greg steps down that it doesn't get taken over by some money hungry yuppy that just ruins Crossfit.

Curious, if Glassman is a devout libertarian, why is he so worried about leaving money on the table for other people?
Who is your wan in the white?
