- Embarking on an epic 100-day journey in Rimworld Save Our Ship 2! Join me as I begin with nothing and strive to conquer the game, venturing into the vastness of space and constructing the ultimate archotech spore ship. Brace yourselves for an exhilarating challenge on the highest difficulty level. This was played on Rimworld 1.4 with the Royalty, Ideology and Biotech DLC enabled. This is how I Spent 100 Days in Rimworld Save Our Ship.

The ship to the stars quest IS DIFFERENT in this mod it spawns a random ship from a pool of different ships that is pretty much ready to fly with!
On top of that, completing the Imperial quest line gives you a free imperial ship to start in.
Mech buildings count as high tech buildings to Sara too so that might be the source of all the strong raids.
The Silver had more adventures than every of us

I am sort of surprise there was not a cut in of the death animation for the tortoise from the Kung Fu Panda movie.
You can speed up getting the Archotek Spore blueprint: prepare a ship with a speed/weight ratio greater than 2. This will allow you to stay out of firing range, even when the psionic ship is retreating. Also prepare 20-30 personal shuttles for discharging turrets in the mode of intercepting torpedoes, and personal shuttles for delivering your boarding team. launch the boarding party after the distracting shuttles reach the maximum attack range of the laser turrets
Keeping your thrust to weight high is generally goood. It makes most fights way easier as you can dictate the pace of the battle.
And shuttles are too expensive to use against point defenses. Torpedoes are cheaper.

@@Saren_5 Once the body dessicates, as in passes the rotting stage, it can no longer be resurrected. How much is left is irrelevant
@@Saren_5 Not stupid it kinda makes sense. The way the serum works is basically reanimating all the cells in the body making the organs and everything else start working again at the cost of a severe illness sometimes, even death again sometimes. If theres only bones, theres no cells, its just.. nothing

i been trying to beat 100 days in toxic wasteland with the starter smokeleaf ideology on randy on the hardiest difficulty, but cant so far but its super fun, i think it would be a good video idea

I got so excited cuz I thought SOS was released on the workshop and still not in their beta on github.
Way better for bug squashing and keeping it polished on da hub. The amount of fixes the community has contributed can only be done in open code.

Huh, that would be an interesting passive bonus to the Animals skill - Double Passion makes aggressive animals less likely to target the character and gives a bonus to tame chance or something
Sadly wouldnt make much sense because passion doesnt resemble actual skill. A lvl 0 doctor with double passion sadly still sucks

Yesterday I found out how to download SOS2 (wasn’t on Steam), and was devastated after I realized it was incompatible with Combat Extended.
I wanted to try it out but… dealbreaker
The logs on start up say combat extended has a Sos2 patch. I thought they were ok together.

no. friendly fire mechanics don't affect pawns in a 5-6 tile radius around them

why didn't you put Silver in the freezer? if you got a resurrect mech serum you could bring her back
Could work. But she died quite early in the playthrough and the solar flares would've rot the body before we have the chance to get one

Also, with SoS2, Afterlife Caskets.
I also prefer to keep the bodies preserved as best I can, in the hope that they can be brought back.
What's the point in giving up early because 'it's unlikely' when good things _do_ happen sometimes, and it gives you a chance?

@@sirkelendor5429 what sense if it ruins ALL difficulty and whole point of the video? These shields are one of the most cheesy mods that I ever seen. Imo they ruined all difficulty at previous few episodes with Combat Extended.
Playing with them is easier than playing at normal or even builder mode
@@mastergenjimain4138 it really doesnt, he might lose one or two less pawns but hes still being constantly bombarded by events, attacks, and if this episode is anything to go by, mech clusters so hes gonna need advantages
@@sirkelendor5429 using Rimatomics you can build mortar interceptors, large shields, drop pod scrumbler and many types od different turrets. It's not cheesing because required many things. Imo he really can use more balanced tools from other mods. In other case it's not 500% if you use unbalanced modes that makes game easier than 100%

It's a series. so 100 days is part 1, 200 days is part 2, 300 days is part 3, etc
