The RX580 is one of the best graphics card i ever owned especially for the price. Bought one new in 2017 after 1 or 2 months since it launched for 250$ and i finally upgraded last year to a 3070 because the 580 was not able to keep up with my 1440p monitor in modern games anymore. I don't know fi there's any graphics card on the market right now that would cost 250$ and last so many years like the 580 did
That's just an exceptional value for the price. Hope it was built well and will last. I bought the Gef GTX 1080 shortly after release in 2016 for 640. That was the longer-lasting gpu (or even cpu) I ever bought in my life. Abandoned it recently, but someone else still gaming on it. Speaking of wish, I'm lazy to upgrade the cpu into Ryzen 3600 from Ci7 6700K. You also have the GTX 1070, or is it in your main PC?
I hope this card lasts too! I am daily using a GTX 1070 for all things in my main system with the i5 12600K. gaming at 1440 and hanging on to see which direction to ultimately go! I was surprised at how well the APU on the Ryzen 5600G worked to BTH.
Hi, Mike, did it was expensive the shipping & handling of that GPU from China and did you had to pay any customs. It's amazing that the RX580 can still be usable today. I might try to source a cheap nVidia 1660 to help me with video encoding or bite the bullet with something newer. Thanks for the video.
it was only $62 total and was shipped form inside the US. I would not buy it again, knowing it was this close to being cut off from driver support. that 1660 sounds better for the right price

I doubt there is one too.
I had ran a rx 460 until last year when i built a new pc.
I used my old R9 380 for a long time too

I'm the First 😊
I want those but just can't afford it 😭
Thanks for being 1st! Also, sorry about the cost thingy!
@@UncleMikeRetro it's cost a lot in my country 😢
But I found some Rx 580 just cost like 50 or above 😅
yes! but... I am not sold on the RX 580 anymore
Stutter could be graphic driver conflict with igpu vega and the Polaris rx 580
i considered that! how to bypass?
Using 5600g from a year gr8 processor
I should maybe have just used the APU and not bothered with the R 580. I agree this CPU is superb, especially at $129 now
I bought that cpu at the time of GPU price hike , now I have paired a 3060 ti with it and it gives great performance
@@UncleMikeRetro rx 580 is still powerful than Rx Vega 7 found on 5600g
yes! it was. but that 5600G was better than OK for a casual gamer.
unfortunately im broke so i cant have the boy
ur not missing anything spectacular
@@UncleMikeRetro i mean i still need a powerful machine tho to create content and stuff
well, depending on the content... maybe somewhat powerful
