AudioPipe wasn't around in my car audio heyday, but solid information nonetheless. Can't ever be over informed, but a lack of information will certainly hurt you. Guys, make sure your vehicle's power supply is up to the task any time you're installing aftermarket amplifiers. If your Toyota Corolla has a stock 80amp alternator, don't expect to run a 2K amplifier that has a 200+amp current demand and have it perform or last very long. The stock 10 gauge at best wiring is going to be a huge bottleneck, even with a big 3/4 upgrade the accessory lighting dimming is going to be an issue until the stock alternator and battery go to the afterlife/graveyard/recycler/(your preference here). Takes power to make power, even with huge efficiency improvement as of late. Love the content Joe, hope your subscriber numbers keep going exponentially as folks realize how real your channel is. Ive got an APCLE30001.D runnin 4x 12" bdc2s. And an APCLE2004 for 4 6x9s. Amps havent given me any issues at all. Ive been very pleased with my Audiopipe gear.

Two things about that amplifier. One, the original version (APCL Consumer line) was a different amp. Its output was considerably more and it was a little more stout. I have it. It’s a 3000 watt RMS amp all day. Big D did a dyno of the APCL1500.1 and it blew its numbers out of the water. It’s the reason why I bought my 1800.1 and it didn’t disappoint in the least. Second, it’s extremely well built. Yes for the money you can buy a louder amp but you won’t get one as well built for less. Not that I’ve seen. The amps were seeing today that cost almost nothing and put out 2000+ watts are Chinese versions of Brazilian full bridge amps which are a double no no in my book. I’m not big on Brazilian full bridge in general because in my opinion they aren’t a reliable amplifier. Couple that with being a Chinese knock off and they just suck. That’s just my opinion. I agree they're good amps and push subs really well. I always had half bridge amps myself but this time tried a full bridge, knowing it might pop. Tbh I'm impressed so far, it was cheap, def puts out some power and hasn't popped. I think alot of that is from ppl not having the electrical to handle them.
@@stereomojo I have a house I rent out to a Navy officer and his family. I have half of the basement locked off from the rest and it’s loaded with car audio I’ve collected since the 80’s. I go there time to time when there’s an issue or I really need something. When I do I always grab something I haven’t seen in a long time. I can look for it if you want and if I find it you’re more than welcome to dyno it.
@@BDauto86 Some of the best amps ever made are full bridge. The JL Audio Slash series being a perfect example. The Brazilian full bridge amps on the other hand are just a different breed of amps. Half of the components are absolutely top of the line and the other half suck. Not only that the PCB boards are horrible and the assembly of the amp itself is second rate for the vast majority of them. Theirs just not for me.
I like Audiopipe stuff. They were just coming around at the end of my early car audio days. I got the bdc3 sub last year gettin back into audio and its pretty stout sub. Audiopipe amps usually dont put out great dyno numbers but theyre built well and perform well on subs. Something to note, there efficiency isnt great and they get very hot without fan.
I've got an APCL 1800. Its a beast for what it is.

Yeah, their stuff seems to be pretty decent. Much better than Boss, Planet Audio, etc.
When you say current draw does that mean my car battery has to be able to provide that number to reach that amount of wattage ❓
