I don’t agree to your point that for a story about president or a sports man or about war there is no scope for women . For example : consider ‘pearl harbour ‘ . It’s a great movie and the love track is one of the bests and made a great impact . And without that portion in the movie it would be like a documentary.. The love track definitely would have made audiences to get attached to the character of the two soldiers... there are so many war movies but for me pearl harbour is the best because of that concrete love track ... And also it doesn’t really require females to produce movies to represent women .. It’s in the hands of the story teller and also audience , if there is genuine female character in the story it will be successful . If the female character is written with less importance, then it will not be good ... I love Maniratnam for the same reason , he characterised women characters sincerely and gave more importance . Roja , Bombay , uyire , kannathil muthamittal, ponniyin selvan all are political/historical movies and block busters . Without the female lead characters those stories would never have made the same impact ... Also in tamil we had many movies until 80s where a lot of priority was given to female characters by directors like balumahendra , Balachander , Bharathi Raja . After 90s it started slowly declining . Later on Gautam Vasudev Menon is another director who have been representing women with great roles . After Rajinikanth became a super star , every hero now wants to become like him and then the mass movies started happening which is a bit annoying for me too ...

sorry actually Barbie is one of the worst movie because it just for woke feminist and to spread hatred on men. if you want to see good feminist movie Gargi of sai pallavi and the great indian kitchen of malayalam which tells female character also has weakness but they strive to get justice and very emotionally connected that mean a character arc which doesn't happen in barbie and other woke feminist movies of hollywood like barbie, captain marvel, she hulk and other stuff just complaining every men in the world and just because she is women those movie portrayed them as perfect and has no weakness. there are good movies in hollywood about feminism in the past but sorry to say there is no good movie about real feminism in hollywood nowadays.
Barbie was meant to help men realise how unfair our reality is to women by turning the tables and putting someone who they could relate to (another man) in the same sort of situation. If it made you think it was unacceptable, the film did its job. But, it requires a modicum of open-mindedness to think beyond the box and those complaining about it tend to be people who like to cling to the familiar.
