Hi, I am new to Detecting. Watched a few videos. I have the X-terra Pro and was wondering what optimal settings you recommend for Dry Sand and Wet sand. No plans to submerge yet. In Florida. ty :)

dry sand Beach1 and wet sand Beach2, you won't be able to change frequency but it works descent. Keep the sensitivity a little lower around 15-20 and it'll be a little less jumpy on the target numbers. good luck out there!

Did I hear you say in another video that you tumbled your corroded coins to clean them and did you use a fine grit?

I have a video called "what do I do with my coins..." basically I separate and tumble them with no media. Fortunately I have access to some industrial sized machines, so it doesn't take long.

got the V12 coil for my 340. was wondering about using 2 detectors. in the gold fields on calif. a regular detector. takes away the trash. then go over the ground. with the gold monster. so you find. gold. maybe. have a good day.

How about one on each arm, just keep the coils as far apart as you can😂😂🤣

@@GarysMetalDetecting but have you ever tried it. me 92646. huntington beach ca. the regular detector. picks up jewelry. coins. trash. iron. while the gold monster. will pick up the same targets. it runs on 45khz. a bit higher then. 5khz ,10khz , 15khz ,20 khz and 40khz. gotta have a understanding. of what your doing most beach detectors. dont work in a gold field.

Why VDI numbers are so jumpy on X-Terra? 🤔

Single frequency machine on the beach does not have the most stable numbers. I'm a dig everything hunter so once in awhile I get a nice suprise🤣😂
