I like this video! Lol I took fundamentals last semester. When I tell you I was at a 73 the whole semester and struggling I had to get it together quick! I had to get an 86 on my final and by the grace of God I got it! But everyone needs to listen to this advice! It is pretty good 😁
girl, STUDY like your life depends on it😭especially focus on the small details that you think they may not cover, that usually is what makes up the final. also, make sure you go over the high/main points that you may not understand that well.
Ariana Basurto I definitely did a lot to get that grade. I practice a lot of nclex style questions. I went back through the readings and looked at the boxes because that’s important. Everything in the boxes could be testable material. I realized that I didn’t have to read the whole chapter. So I would read the first sentence and the last sentence. If you don’t understand the details just read the whole section. When I did do nclex questions I had my book there so if I saw a question that didn’t make sense I went back to the book and highlighted the answer. Read the rationales too! I found nclex questions on google as well. I also started early. I studied a month for that final.
Hi Ebony! Thanks for this video! I’m in nursing school now and it’s going by fast. Practice questions are my go to for studying. Your layout is exactly like mine. Clinicals for me is going smoothly. Another great tip for me is to create my own study guide. Our instructor doesn’t provide that for us but she gives us a power point. When will you be finished? You’re going to be a great nurse? Do you know where you would like to work? I want NICU or ICU.
I graduate next August! I am going to make an updated video soon...a LOT has changed lollll. i wish you the best in your program! pediatrics or L&D is where i want to specialize.
@@ebonyiman8777 yes I love pediatrics. It’s my passion to work with them. I’m currently working in a Peds clinic now and I’ve been here for 5 years. L&D is a great area too. Thanks so much!

@@ebonyiman8777 I plan on taking the first semester off of working to see how I do I'm hoping with that extra time it will help. Thanks so much for taking the time out to make these videos!
Depends on your school and how long it takes you to get the required grades! For me, about 2 and a half years because I retook several classes to get better grades.
