Probably because I am a French teacher and I am used to good and bad pronunciations, I was not shocked by the narrator's pronunciation. However, I was shocked by the snobbism and arrogance of those criticizing the narrator's pronunciation. The video is not about his French skills, it's about food and he did what he could.
Funny, because whenever I go to Paris and start speaking French the person replies to me in English. When I ask why, they often say because you speak it with an American accent. So I say ok, you speak English to me and I’ll speak French to you.😂
I have been to Paris and love it !! going back in Aug,, Frenchie Bar a Vin was one of our favs.. looking forwared to trying Le Procope,, but with this review will try to make time for Les Cocottes and perhaps Chez Robert et Louise ,, thanks for the recommendations
1- Chez Denise IS iconic for serving traditional French food 2- Robert et Lousie is a SEAK-House. Nothing more & nothing less than Perfection 3- The other mentions (le petit cafe, le marchant de huile d'olive, le marchant de vin avec 4 tables) those are all the caprices of a Yelp addict. Parisians have a unique definition of a "Restaurant"

Between the Boulangerie, the Charcuterie et Patisserie, there is a plethora of markets which provide classic, old fashion French street food. There are so many other sandwiches, besides the Jambon-beurre, along with a variety of quiches, terrines, patees, riettes, salades, etc.....that no one covers. Can you possibly step away from the falafel, just this once, and explore true French Fare?!? I would be Eternally grateful for this educational bit on Parisian Gastronomie.
