Exway claims the X1 Pro can go up to 16 miles. Is that claim legit? In this video I test their claim by seeing how far the Exway X1 Pro will go while staying in 2nd gear.

@@its_Matt_B_ haha I got into skating due to my friend group being marathon junkies with a dream of running a marathon in every state, I couldn't be bothered to train with them, so boards are my thing, if your refering to the exway flex I hope they send one I'd jump on it, it's going to be a game changer for the eskate scene and I garuntee people will be watching every thing they can find on it
I watched Daniel Kuan’s video on the Flex yesterday! It looks pretty sweet and I’m loving Daniel’s prediction that Exway could make it faster over time with a firmware update!

I have one question: can you push the board when you spend the whole battery (or when it is not powered on)? I wish to know how hard could that be, cause in my country we don't have anyone riding this model so I could try myself.
Cheers, John! Yes, the board is able to be kicked when/if the battery runs out. The board is not as free-rolling as a unpowered longboard but it can be done. With this being said, try to avoid it at all costs; after riding an electric skateboard, kicking a skateboard just isn't fun! Thanks for your question, my man!
Nice video just got mines and did an initial impression. Personally I ride in third gear. It’s pretty fast and increases the range a little than fourth gear especially since I am a heavier rider. Also I am jealous of the streets you ride on.
Some of the roads around my place are nice and new, and so are VERY smooth. It's always a real treat to ride on them! 4th gear blows through the battery pretty fast, but it's a lot of fun! I was happy to see how far I could take this board, even if I would have preferred to go a bit faster while doing it!

Yeah, I was shocked at the distance. It was pretty slow but still, 18 MILES!! 😮 (I got 10.7 miles in 3rd gear).
Matt Bertrand I gotta try mine in mode 2 and see how much farther I go. Do you use the default curves the race curves or custom?
All settings were default.
I have a board with Hub Motors and they overheat and I have to let it cool down. Do the hub Motors on the exway overheat??
No, the hub motors do not overheat. The only thing that gets hot is the heat sink, but that's supposed to happen! What board are you riding? How old is it? Hub motors have come a long way, even in the last year or so!
How do you like the board over all? Is the the ride too rough to be usable? Any problems so far?
I've had the board 4 months and I haven't had a single problem. The 85mm wheels soak up a lot of road vibration but just like with any board, smooth roads feel a lot better and are more fun! I got the quick-charger and it's great; it means I can have a quick turnaround between rides!
What app is that? That shows how much battery juice left, miles etc.. on your phone?
popitn2nd it’s the Exway app. It connects to the board and tells you everything about it: speed/distance travelled/ battery remaining/gear you’re in.
Matt Bertrand so how’s the board now? Now that you’ve had it for awhile? Any issue to it. Also, Exway USA is no longer open. It would be hard to get the parts for it. I’m thinking if its worth it to drop my investment on this board knowing the fact that, no customer service nor parts to get in the U.S.
popitn2nd I sold the board a few months ago, not because there was anything wrong with it, but because I crashed and broke a few ribs. 🙄 Exway is still in business, it’s just their U.S. office that closed down.
Matt Bertrand oh wow! Sorry to hear about your accident with it. Not sure if it’s worth it getting one now. Hope i won’t do anything crazy with it if i get one and make the same mistake. I hear this is prone to accident

No, I don't have the Riot pack.
What app are you using to track you miles? Also, what app to track battery percent?
+popitn2nd I used GPS on my watch to track the miles and the remote control to track the battery percent.
I get about 20km cruising in mode 4 at avg 18km/h.
That's good range at that speed!
