I think this is the most exciting part for me. I’m use to working with FBF, and am so happy that I can just using VECTOR sketches here, instead of importing from somewhere else. Thank you!
Thanks so much for the great tutorials! I've created a sketchy frame by frame animation much like the ballerina. Is there any way to colour these animations by hand on a layer beneath the sketch? What would the easiest way to go about this be?
Once you are done drawing, you can transform the frame by frame layer into a switch layer (just go at the layer's properties, Switch tab and uncheck 'frame by frame layer) and animate the vectors in any way you want
Those style settings remain frustratingly unclear to me. @ 11:45 you make a point to go into the style panel to select a lightblue fill color while you leave the line purple... and yet, when you start drawing again, the linecolor is NOT purple, but somehow still the previous blue that is nowhere to be seen anywhere in the interface!!? Why? how can you tell what color your line is going to be!? @ 14:52 in a new project without any visible actions from Victor the line color somehow did turn purple... could anyone shine some light on the mysterious workings of the style panel... why is it behaving like that?
Thank you for this! Also QUESTION: What if you wanted to animate characters dancing, but you wanted them on different layers since they go in front and in back of each other; how would you go about doing that? I see that every keyframe has a different layer, but can you have one character on one layer and another on a different layer?
What if I want to mix frame by frame and rigged animation? Like say I pose my character using bones on two separate keyframes then animate the inbetweens frame by frame.
I'm replicating this tutorial but I can't seem to change the width of the line once I select the "rough ink" style again, I can change color and brush for the whole animation tho, what am I doing wrong? I'm suspecting it has something to do with the pen pressure options of my wacom.
I figured it out, I'll answer myself in case anyone is looking for this, you have to use the Style 1 and Style 2 panels so the default "NONE" brush it's used as base instead of the "Syles" fly out tab at the top right when you're about to draw, I was chosing the Styles fly out tab before drawing therefore I couldn't change the line width size after my animation was completed.
Hello, I tried to make frame animation, but I have realised that there is no way I can make a layer with sketch and then draw lineart on an another layer . I need to make screenshot each time to be able to draw sketch between frames. But I need to see frames on top of frames(onion option) in particular layer when I am using AN ANOTHER layer to make sketch between linearts. Howver, my "frames on top of frames" layers are not visible when I switch the layer. But I need it. So, is that possible?
Do I got a cheap Version I don't see frame by frame on my program. Is there some secret to getting that option .did moho rip me off with a version nit with the only style animation I want to do
It creates too many layers in the layers panel, every drawing becomes a layer, i know it can be grouped but still too many layers. Can you guys make it like a symbol in adobe animate (dont need every drawing to be showed in layers panel)
How the hell can I just draw some draw a mouth a series of circles in a row..just no robo bones just me and pen drawwing .. like it's like for stroke victims. Like how do I draw many things in a row
Can you really call it frame-by-frame animation wiithout onion skins.? That's called drawing on keyframes and I can't think of any animation software that CAN'T do this.. Moho looks like a good software, but it doesn't have frame-by-frame animation tools.
Hi! Moho has onionskins. You can check them with the new timeline options here (around 3:54): ua-cam.com/video/8AjGBgxgHag/v-deo.htmlsi=oqcCXYUmNsDMw342
Great tool but boy, is this tutorial unstructured. So much info that is REALLY great to know, BUT is not related to the Frame by Frame Workflow. And the number ONE, most important most basic feature that I want/need for Frame by frame is not even mentioned. Onion Skins anyone? Am I the only one??? if someone got any good links to an actual walk through to drawing frame by frame in Moho, you ll have my gratitude. thank y´all
Hello. Thanks for the feedback. This tutorial is part of a longer list showing the new features coming with version 14. You can find information about onion skins here: ua-cam.com/video/8AjGBgxgHag/v-deo.html And here is the full playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PLynyD-7entJ3P_y0TLXnArRvNbihqroQx.html
Geoff's ballerine is fantastic, the circle could be better for sure 😅, but as long as the tutorial is clear and shows the potential these tools have, we are happy with it ☺
God bless moho makes it easy to copy a frame!🙏 I swear other software makes it so difficult for such an easy function.

I like the Multi-stroke fill. Great idea and a cool addition. Also the connect and create.
Interesting, you can really do a lot of different workflows and styles in Moho.

It's possible to create automatic interpolations between keyframes?

Excellent tutorial - thank you Victor!

does anyone else not have the option to add a frame by frame layer?
Me, did you solve it?
Thank you for this! Also

@mohoanimation @10:45 alt+w doesnt work for me, whats the command called, maybe i can find it in the edit shortcut?

What about animating a Text?

Hi. The main differences between Pro and Debut can be found on our web:
moho.lostmarble.com/pages/features
There is also a full comparison table there
@@mohoanimation well installed out loot for the pro. Frame by frame. Just me drawwing.
Hello, my "new frame" button is gone. How to make it appear
Hi. Be sure the frame by frame layer is selected. Then the FBF buttons should appear
@@mohoanimation thank you so much
Thank you ❤❤
How much is the update?
This is great! Trying the new demo today, I like the onion skin options too.
I was wondering if there is onion skinning. That’s good to know.
I wish they returned the raster drawing options but this is good too. Also, onion skin... How they would not demo that in this video is beyond me
You can check the Onionskins on the Timeline improvements video :)
@@mohoanimation Seen it and it's great. Everything is great in this update. Thank you so much for your hard work.

Have you tried version 14? The only layer you see is the frame by frame one
@@mohoanimation really? I still use version 13, my mistake, sorry😅
add this in moho debut14 please! this feature is something i need so bad!
no more bitemap frame by frame ? (

That ballerina was well animated, but your circle animation puts it to shame
