This feature is great~! It completely overturned the modeling logic of the past, and I had to start thinking about modeling from scratch! Moho is super invincible and the best~!
Not long ago, I tried to animated a character rotating 360 degrees. That proved to be a massive pain to get right. And when you showed the character head rotating using liquid shapes, I thought "Ugh, why couldn't this have existed when I was trying to animate a character rotating 360 degrees?". But yeah, whomever made liquid shapes possible deserves a raise.
You are very talented, sometimes I have no idea to make. Whose really thinks that this effect is made with only two shapes. It's All because of your skill and talent.
i was already doing something similar (the character head part) by putting the outline of the shapes under the fill color, but this not only does that but it makes it faster and has more options it will also tone down the use of masks
@@ghost6sick those things already exist and are used in pretty much every vector base program. i just figured a way to do it on my own because they did not have it implemented
Impressive! Liquid shapes is a game changer! Thank you Victor for explaining the tool in such an easy to follow way, some great tips here too. Folks much watch this tutorial to the end, not just for fire or liquid; the application of this tool for character head turns is incredible allowing you more control and work with fewer layers. Just brilliant!
Am still going to finish this vidoe its quit long. But I need to know if there is soemthing about softe Edge Stopping in the silhouette of the other shape. I just want some round shadows on my character with out it looking off the edges. Or do I have to use the o ly way if layer masking.
Hi. For the way Liquid Shapes work internally, it's not possible to hide edge segments on them. But you can still use masking or other techniques instead to achieve the same effect. Maybe it's a good topic to bring to our Forum or Discord server!
Wow, this is an entirely new way to animate, unrelated to what Moho was before. It'll take me a while to figure out how to combine all these methods. But I really like the new capabilities. I imagine you'll get to it eventually, but I'm already wondering how you'd go about lip-syncing with the character in this example.
I have updated to Moho 14 from 13.5. I have uninstalled 13.5. I cannot find the tools you are using to create liquid shapes. Can you tell me how to toggle this on?
Hi! Please be sure you are using Pro (Liquid Shapes are not available on Debut) and that you are not using a custom script. The Liquid Shape options should appear when using the Select Shape tool.
If I want to do fluid animation, any method implemented in moho is very cumbersome and the effect is not perfect. Method 1: Draw different shapes on the same layer, and then use blending modes to simulate the melt ball effect. However, the follow path function cannot be applied to a single graphic on the same layer (because this function is based on the layer, and the blending mode can only work on the same layer). The second method is to use the particle function, but it is difficult to control the shape of the entire fluid, and it is impossible to use the follow path function to set a complex curved flow path for the particles. At the same time, it is impossible to form a free-edge fluid effect between particles or achieve a flowing fluid dark effect by setting the blending mode.
Can you explain more clearly? I've only been using moho for a while (mostly self-studying on UA-cam) and honestly I'm very interested in what you have to say.
@@pondksjo Thank you very much. I've been trying to follow the video for the past few days. It's actually a bit complicated and difficult to understand for beginners.

Holy Cow! 23:00 just opened doors to so many possibilities. Keep up the great work Moho. Probably the most innovative 2d animation software out there!
WOOOOOOWW💥... THIS IS FIRE 🔥 . I have dreamed of this for SO long. Dreams coming through. Well Done Moho.❤

I already know @Shi-Yang is going to have lots of fun with this new update. I will as well. Thanks Moho! :)

Brilliant stuff. As a newbie animator who recently purchased Moho 14, this is fascinating viewing! Thank you, Victor!
future looks birght if you guys keep updating like this!!

I love Moho 14! Victor, your tutorials are super easy to follow and you always explain everything so well--> for beginners and advanced users. 😊
Very nice presentation, and excellent work on the new upgrade! I look forward to digging in!

This has tons of possibilities.😍😍
Love this. Especially how you can use it for character animation
This makes limbs so much easier to create, and probably a thousand and one other uses too. Well done!
A powerfull also a simple tool to learn, moho its amazing, thanks Victor, saludos desde México.

Nice update 🎉. Well done to the team that worked on this upgrade

me too lol
Wonderful, RESOURCE!!! Where can I download the example file?
25:30 - how come eyelid is a shape set as subtract and part of eyebrow line is still visible?
Using the Create shape tool, you can select the points of the eyebrow and create a new shape for it. That new shape will be on top of the rest
This sold me, upgrading now.
Fantastic - really useful new tools! ❤
veryvervry nice. OMG , moho 14 will change the entire school's operations
Yeah, that is very slick. Nice work, Moho team!
MOHO会成为2D动画的王者!!👍👍
Great Idea. Creative and great 🎉
Super well explained ,thanx !
Brilliant! Just used this to make a hand. Really useful feature.
Hi, I'd love to recommend you on adding an addon or feature which turns image layers to vector layers
What settings are you using to have the outline crisp and sharp, it appears pixelated to me when I render? :)
Be sure you are rendering in a high enough resolution. Also, check if there is any pixelation applied in the project settings or layer's properties.
No habrán tutoriales en español?
Thank you for the tutorial!
can we flip the bone for reverse rotation 🤔🤔😏 just asking😊😊
Killer feature.
There is no other software that does this effect as easily, flexible and intuitively as this. Insanely useful.
Mind blowing good 🎉🎉🎉
Extremely happy with the new update 💯
is there a way to do masking shape like this on PSD or raster image files?
Liquid shapes only work with vectors, but you could add bitmap textures using masking, brushes and other techniques
Nice it's very easy for us. :)
A bug in moho 14, Hide edge doesn't work with liquid shapes. Will there be a fix soon?

@@funnyanimation-zd7tk What I mean is that compared to After Effects, it is very complicated and difficult to create natural fluid motion in MOHO.
