You have opened my eyes to a new opportunity for bad weather photography.Thank you. I will be giving my pinholes a good workout this winter especially in weather -10C and below which I have been loath to use my cameras in as it’s past their specs even when weather sealed. So several months was no outdoor photography for me here in Canada ,no more😆
I admire your dedication in going out in that weather. As I watched the video, all I could think of was sipping on a nice cup of hot chocolate! If you are happy with the shots you took, then it was worth it. Cheers! (in the video description, all the way down to how we can support your work, you have "but" instead of "buy", in the Pinhole Life line. I got what you're saying but people who struggle with English might wonder what you mean)
For me it's always worth it, even if they come out bad I feel it's a learning experience, plus I just enjoy getting myself out. Thank you for point out the but, have now sorted that 👍
Yes I do think it’s time to treat yourself to a new waterproof coat Will! Always good to be out, whatever the weather and makes you appreciate being back home in the warm and dry 👍🙂 I think you will like the Rollei film as the ones I have used are extra red sensitive.
I have often thought about going out in had weather, but my photographic mind has always held me back, with concerns of catastrophic failure. I've now cut out a less expensive and replaceable 6x6 pinhole, I'm going to give it ago. I've thought for years about underwater pinhole just for the the extreme stupidity of it. Thanks for the inspiration.
Yes you should try it, I have too thought about underwater pinhole photography, for the same reasons. Will have to give it ago one day, when I can fully watertight a pinhole camera.
I'm slightly disappointed to see you didn't have your shorts on as usual 🤣Fair play for going out and videoing in those conditions, I think most of the rest of us would probably knock it on the head and come back another day when it's dry. Hope you had a nice hot cup of tea in a flask back in the car.
Some typical english weather; not exactly the circumstances I would like to use my digital cameras. But somehow the MIA camera made the best of it under these brutal conditions. Do you use the actioncamera a bit like a viewfinder I wonder? BTW: had quite a few ads during the video, so you must be raking it in ;-)
I wouldn't take a digital/film camera out in this, waterproof action camera yes :), the Mia worked well for the conditions, just me messing exposures up a bit. I do use the action camera as a bit of a viewfinder to get an idea of what I may get, does help sometimes. Raking it in, i wish 🤣 This video has maybe made £1.50, a few more videos and I can buy another roll of film 😉👍 It's nice if it can fund itself, but certainly don't want too many ads ruining peoples watching experience.
Happy to see that the Fomapan is getting a good use, rather than sitting in my freezer. Hats off to you for getting out in this kind of weather.
Excellent, thank you very much
really nice photos there will looking at them you would not think it was raining.
Thank you.
The longer exposures do make the weather not look as bad as it was

Yes, get yourself out there and enjoy it :)
The results were well worth the soaking...yer mad lad! Beautiful moody images.
well worth the soaking :)
Great stuff and use of a Lidl bag 🤣📷👍
I have so many Lidl bags, need to make the most of them, recycling♻️😉
Wow! You are a braver person than me!
Lovely photos!
Thank you Sina 😊

I will treat myself for Christmas :)
Looking forward to the Rollei, getting through some other film first, then will load it up :)
Suffering for your art there!!!
Suffering? Just a little rain and wind... and mud... and cold... okay, yeah, suffering pretty much sums it up! 😅
