@@nsh.5p idk which ones ur watching, but they've absolutely led me to purchase tactile switches that i end up satisfied with. staring at someone press down a key with no audio is useless, i was good knowing the actuation specs

@@JUICE-wk2tz personal experience is they're stiff enough to not need film, but could still be a nice mod if you have time to do so
I have Glorious Pandas in my primary boards but built a GMK with milky yellows and they sound amazing. The linears definitely growing on me. Currently awaiting my Neo 65 that won't have RGB and considering the Oil Kings for that but want to try the Morandi as well. Thanks for the great review, I only have the yellows to compare but you are spot on in your description!
Since posting this I have been using Morandi in my main board. I built a Neo 65 today and use Oil Kings... and I agree they sound and feel great but I'm not sure they are better than the Morandi.

I have morandi, I find the newer durock black lotus to be much better than morandi. Better at factory lube (more consistence, and less scratchy) smoother and less wobble, sounds deeper too.

Maybe for next you could pick best high pitched (or clack) switch. Or maybe unique switch (like zeal clickes or gat lucolo)

Can’t lie I have some morandis and I didn’t like they upstroke, it sounded weird to me but after hand lubing they were very nice
a video about top switches with no sound test. hell yeah. let's just theoretically talk bout things know what im sayin.
Love the Morandi's, but that stem wobble is almost a deal breaker when gaming. Other than that they are my daily drivers and I would recommend them 10/10 times for a great stock linier on a budget. cost me around $40 for a 60% board and have 11 leftover. The typing feel is so nice and they sound awesome.

Genius program with the switch trying. Just ordered set to try! I suspect I will want the Gatoron G Pro yellow, Mirandis or Ink blacks, but I'm really just not sure so I'm gonna try a bunch.

@@TurboV8boi I like the oil kings, but ended up getting the Aqua king switches since they were similar to oil kings but had see through bodies. I'd recommend getting the middle to heavy weight switch, i got the lightest and it's a bit easy to accidently hit keys!
I've never been more disappointed by a switch purchase than I have with aqua kings. The factory lube job was just so inconsistent. Some switches wouldn't even return after a press.
Aqua Kings were so terrible when I tested them through milktooth. Did they even have lube on them? They stuck onto itself. Like really glossy plastic grinding against glossy plastic... take a wild guess what happens.
I purchased twice in recent months and gladly I see no problem so far.
@@user-js7ym6te5eit still doesn't change the fact that the QC is dodgy at best. Sure you can get a good batch but the chances of that are pretty slim, plenty of switches in 2023 that are much safer picks.
its a common issues with aqua kings. there are local enthusiast where i live that would resell aqua kings after filtering out the garbage ones and usually would still clean and relube them afterwards to make sure that its as consistent as possible.
seems like a lot to go through after spending money on a product that is touts its lube job as a feature. @@kaeroseon
You should do a review on NLandKeys/BSUN Flower Shadow switches, an entirely LY switch with a creamy and gliding experience that could rival Aqua Kings.
the Sarokeys BCP aren't the same as the original BCPs, they're a great alternative though that's for sure but imo they're overhyped just like the original BCPs, the original BCPs though have that very nice cherry top top out sound though that no other switch has ever been able to replicate.
However, Sarokeys and BSUNs have so many other choices that are so good and definitely separate themselves from the regular Tecsee, JWK long pole that we've all grown tired of.

Would probably swap out the milky yellow for G pro 3.0. and Oil kings for gateron smoothie, times have changed.

@@Hand-Banana Yes I have those actually! Would just like to discover more. Tactiles I currently have Neapolitan Ice Creams, Root Beer Floats, U4T's, Zeal Clickiez in Tactile mode, Emogogo's, Azure Dragon V2's, Naevies and Cream Blues.

Thebsun/saorkeys x geon bcps are definitely not creamy. They are clack monsters even on a Pom plate

Im torn on what switches I should go with. I really like my akko creamy blues for the tactile feel but i love my aqua kings for that creamy low sound, it just makes the board feel so much more premium. I just dislike how muddy they feel, for a linear switch, they take some damage on your fingers over time
