Love the content. One tip of you have strip prone screws is to push the screw into place and turn in counter clockwise (for standard threads) until you hear and feel a 'click' maintain pressure and proceed to screw in the screw normally. This just insures that the threads are lined up properly and catching the first thread as soon as you make forward progress in the threads.

Couldn’t click on this fast enough, always enjoy these videos. Keep up the great work. I can’t wait for my dual trac, I stopped calling cause I felt bad for Nolan and Forrest having to repeat themselves.

Hi MFJJ, I'm a big fan of yours and have already learned a lot!
I live in Europe and would have liked to have such service from the store!
Too bad they are only salespeople, and almost everything was installed incorrectly!
Can you make a video on how to inspect a bow before use?
So that you don't have serious damage because 1 part was worn out and you didn't see it!

Awesome video! With my epsilon rest I used the cord it came with and also experienced it “stretching” causing it to continue to be tightened. After 3 days and 30 or so shots it no longer does this and is rock solid of anyone is curious

My archery hammer is a 1/2" dia. carbon steel rod 7-1/2" long sleeved over with 4-1/2" of 1/2" rubber hose. The thing weighs about 7.5 ounces, and I hold it on the bare steel side and whack away with the rubber coated side. It's got some nice heft to it.

Just bought a V3X 33 and now I'm just collecting parts and waiting on my custom Dual Track (ordered it like 3 weeks ago... heard at my local shop theyre upping production just like you said). Now I gotta order a custom string from MFJJ... I was gonna go custom order but I liked the bow I shot in shop so much and I want to support the local shops so... I bought it there and now my build begins.

Just a suggestion but I’d like to see, especially for the new archer is a video of what to get and in what order to get items for a bow build. What’s the most important to get shooting and the least important to get shooting. There is so much stuff on the market that it can be quite overwhelming to get started in archery.

I may be going with a V3X 33 myself. Neither Hoyt nor my local pro shop can offer a clear and confident answer when my order of a RX7 Ultra could be received after 100days of my order. I had my heart set on a carbon bow but I may need to go with aluminum if I'm going without before July 1st. I can't exactly wait for this apparent 'world wide carbon fibre shortage' - having a V3X 33 as a second choice doesn't seem to be horrible according to your videos and Elk Shapes vids....😉

How do you like the Bigshot targets? I just set up my V3X33 with sideplates too to eliminate the "spongy" feel when I hit full draw. The Dual Track and the Tightspot will grace my bow for the next few months leading up to the deer and elk hunts. I usually run out of space between my fletching and the bottom of the housing on my Black Gold sight before hitting the end of the detent in the travel track.
Edit: I usually just look into the opposite axle hole to align it and it'll slide right in with just a few taps less than 90 times : )

I put custom strings, MBG bridgelock dovetail, hamskea epsilon, tuned etc mine and my buddies v3x 33. it was a little fun to see you struggle with those damn axles because I did too haha. I gotta say though, the beeswax for the nock point serving, peep, and d-loop is MONEY, its night and day difference in terms of handling and the serving gripping. Thanks for all the info MFJJ, I imagine if you saw my builds you would be proud lol.

Is there a specific reason (outside of aesthetics) to get the new Epsilon rest, with the Mathews specific mounting bracket instead of the universal mount? My understanding is the new low pro quivers will still clear the universal mount. I'm thinking get the universal mount and not be locked into Mathews in the future. What are your thoughts?

MFJJ, have you built an Elite Ritual 33 before? Have you tuned one? after arrow tuning, move my rest its max amount, I am still getting a right tear in paper. Elite's site says to move the LTR to the right, but many other Elite shooters are telling me to shim the cams first. Should I go with what Elite says or straight to shimming?
