Thanks, Eric! They really did a stunning job on this helmet. I only pointed out the very minor flaws here and there to 1. be perfectly objective and 2. so those who are not familiar with these custom helmets would know these aren't mass-produced, plastic Black Series things, they are finely hand crafted and these tiny flaws are to be expected in return for the exceptional quality. I am thrilled with the helmet! Thank you for stopping by and checking out the video. I appreciate it!
Wow Paul what a really cool helmet. Thank you for the up close look at this helmet and I think it looks great on you. keep up the great work and look forward to the next one.
Ryan! Always good to see you! And thank you very much. I was flattered when these guys reached out to me and I was confident the helmet wouldn't disappoint. I've run out of display room, so I had to box up a few of my Black Series Mandalorian style helmets and store them away to make room for these higher end helmets coming in this year. I look forward to seeing you get lit while opening some Star Wars stuff again soon. haha! Take care!
Thanks, Paul! I was absolutely flattered they reached out to me like they did. I was so conscientious filming the video about making sure I stayed objective because in most of my videos, I'm wildly positive and just gush over my Star Wars collectibles. I wanted to make sure my objectivity and integrity came through on this one since they sponsored it, so I probably pointed out more small detail flaws than I normally would. Regardless, as you say, this helmet is stunning and looks great on display. Thanks for checking this one out Paul!
Thanks, Michael. I've run out of space, so I had to box up a few of my Black Series Mandalorian style helmets and store them away to make room for these higher end helmets coming in. Thanks for checking out another of my videos and Happy New Year, sir!
I agree, Christopher! I didn't even notice that variant until I was doing research for this video. I missed it in my first couple watch through of those episodes months ago. The good news is that if you decide you want one, and want the red variant, Empire Essentials take custom requests as well. Thanks for stopping by and checking this one out, sir. I appreciate ya!
Thanks, Matt! I appreciate that. And yeah, I wish I had more helmets to go over but between limited releases and limited space, they don't come along often enough for sure. Thanks for checking this one out!
Thank you very much, Gary. And I gotta tell ya, I have purchased a number of finished helmets from Etsy shops over the years, and these guys have done the best job so far, or I wouldn't have agreed to the deal we made for this video. I think if you pull the trigger on one of those helmets, you won't be disappointed at all.
Thanks, SteveO! I appreciate that. they did a great job on this one. I was glad to get the opportunity to pick this one up at the discounted price and help them out with a little exposure. Thanks for checking this one out!
Nice, Brendan! That one does look cool and I think you'll like it. The hardest part, as you mention, is the wait time. It appears that most of their helmets are made to order, so it usually takes a few months to get them to you. I think it's worth it though. Thanks for stopping by and checking out the video also!
Thanks, Die Segeteis! I appreciate that. And three helmets is a great collection in and of itself, or a beautiful start to a much larger one. Either way, you have helmets and you're in the right place to see more!
I was glad that the super commandos looked as good as they did. Creating new designs is a risky business. I loved them. This helmet looks ok. It would never pass for the real thing. To be honest, if I were to give it a grade, it would be a D+, maybe a C. It just looks like a toy. It could have been worse. It looks worse when you put it on. Maybe the eyes are too small or something.
I'm sorry you and I disagree on this one, Bob. I think a lot of that may come from the fact that the helmet is a very simplistic design in the first place. In addition, I ordered it without weathering. I think a lot of times, weathering makes helmets look more like a "real thing." Either way, I appreciate your input and opinion. It proves we don't all have to agree to still have a great discussion about Star Wars collectibles and be cordial with each other. Thank you for stopping by, checking out the video and being honest and polite in your feedback, It means a lot!
That's a great question, MM! I think "collect" would be a strong word for it, but there are some non-Star Wars helmets I would love to have. I have a collection of five NFL helmets that are currently packed away due to space issues. I also would love to get a hold of the Karl Urban Judge Dredd helmet, and a replica of the helmet the guys from "CHiPs" wore in that 70's series. And finally, maybe a Colonial Star Pilot helmet from the original Battlestar Galactica. I've just never put the effort in (yet) to grab any of those up. Thanks for stopping by and checking out t he video!
@@michiganmandos Not really... for a number of reasons. I don't really pay a whole lot of attention to the superhero props, and of those, they have all mostly been Marvel based that interested me. I'd never even heard of the character until the DC movies came out a couple years ago. It looks a little silly to me as well; kind of like a chrome toilet bowl. haha! And finally, I have to be judicious with my display space right now, so I mostly stick to a specific type of Star Wars helmet like the troopers and Imperials.
I make the same helmet much better than this but nobody know i exists. For example on my one you cannot see any seems despite its been printed in separate pieces and the entire piece it's reinforced with a resin layer.
Really love how that helmet looks even with the little flaws you pointed out.

Another great review Paul. Empire Essentials helmets look great and this one is no exception to that. What a great addition to your collection.

@@PaulsCollectibles I thought you did a great job of staying objective in your views on this helmet. I know it’s not easy to always do, so great job👍
Good looking helmet. Nice addition to the collection.

This helmet looks phenomenal! The version with the red would be a nice pop of colour!

Another awesome review! Quite tempted to purchase the Captain Enoch helmet on their Etsy shop…that or the Ezra Bridger Scout Trooper. 👍🏽

Thank you, Simon. These guys do good work and it appears they are genuinely trying to grow and improve. Happy New Year to you as well, sir!
@@PaulsCollectibles yes, looks quality, good luck to them
10 out of 10! Great Helmet, RAD Review!

Cool looking helmet.
Right, Matt?! They did a good job. Almost makes me want to get back to building my own again... almost. haha! Thanks for checking this one out.
Ordered the Gar Saxon helmet 2 weeks ago cant wait

Hey, Michael! And I agree. This one looks great on display!
Good video 😊

Would you consider collecting helmets that aren't star wars?
