Thankyou! Just followed this today on my max360! Only issue was removing the plug out the socket. DO NOT TRY AND PULL THE ENTIRE SOCKET OUT 😂 I almost broke some stuff.
I have the same radar, except I have mine mounted on the left side of the driver windshield with the wire running up the A pillar. Then my front windshield has tinted strip. I like your installation just don't like my radar showing. But I do like the clean installation you did.
thanks bud !! my car is garage kept at home and at work so it's sorta okay that it's mounted there I guess lol I think it's all really personal preference though lol some people like the stealth thing which is also awesome !! seems our cars have a LOT more in common each time I upload lol
Hey man, good video! Just wanted to let you know that there is an updated version of the V1 which falses much less to K band. If you ever switch it up, go for the Uniden R3. It has twice the range of a V1. Comes with Gps lockouts and other goodies. Just no arrows... DONT GO FOR ESCORT... I have a Max 360 and it falses too much. My V1 and Uniden R3 is much better.

Great video, question though. On the mirror tap website it says that the 2017 charger mirror and the kit is not compatible. Did you check if the mirror is 12V?
manny I will hit 500 miles tomorrow lol going to first install the active exhaust simulators to see if the tone changes then likely next week it's mid muffler delete time lol LMI intake goes on this week sometime as well :)

I'm pretty sure the .075 is what I had before this and it was WAY too thick to fit into the small gaps in the back. With these, they have SLIGHT resistance which gives a snug fit but doesn't have any risk of breaking or weakening the connection. I'd say to get the smaller size for sure so you don't run into any issues.

I mean .. nothing is going to 100% guarantee that you won't get a ticket but this radar has given me enough warning MORE THAN A FEW TIMES of a police officer ahead of me and it saved my butt lol plus I just think it's a piece of mind type thing and I've always had a radar in every car I've ever owned
I have the same radar and I think it is worth every penny. I recently sent mine in for an update which I needed because I was getting numerous false alarms due to the new parking sensors and cruise control radars on the newer vehicles. I use my radar plus the waze app.

HonestlyOCD mine is pretty old an everyone's lane assist is setting off my K band constantly. The upgrade is going to cost me $200

I used the .045 taps for mine

right now it's stock but I'm installing the LMI within the next few days and I'll have a video on it :)
