My husband has since also wondered off the path God had laid out for him and I’ve no idea where he is. Once in my life the Devil dragged my down and was devoured with the things of the world. I had no excuse I know what I was doing was morally wrong and against Gods Commandements and his Holy word. I committed a crime and di about 1 year in prison. God never stopped loving me , I had to repent and turn my life to Jesus, t was a tough road but God Kept me His power and healing embraced me and I found a New Life in Jesus. My mother passed away April 1st, 1995. I was in Kindergarten. I don't have many memories of her but this was the first song I ever completely learned to sing and it was bc she sang it all the time. It also played at her funeral. So this song means a lot to me.

My mom died May 17, 2022. I am an ordained Southern Baptist preacher. Raised in the Assembly of God Pentecostal Church. So many of the lessons I learned from my precious mother, I didn't completely grasp them until after she passed away a couple years ago. That beautiful Christian song I shared with my dad in 2000 he was dying from cancer and I got on my knees and asked God to use me to help dad ask Jesus Christ into his heart I was steadfast and would not give up until he did and he was crying asking Jesus christ into his heart. I felt God's presence before he died what a beautiful blessing moment I'll never forget ever. I can still remember accepting Jesus Christ as my personal Savior in 1997 his was the first Christian concert I went to. It was a very moving experience as I felt the Holy Spirit moving as he sang.
My Father back in the 2000s would play this song almost everyday. It was a CD my Mother brought home. We would listen to this particular track again and again. I was just a little girl back then unaware of Ways The Lord had used this song to speak to our family. My Father and Brother are now in Heaven and I believe they’re singing again. It's not up to you to judge this man. Jesus loves you as well. Same...i grew up in the church...my dad was an ordained minister...as i grew older my heart turned cold...i got into selling drugs...using drugs heavily and drinking. I was on a bender one christmas eve....i never slept. The next day ..Christmas day my dad passed away....i never got to say goodbye..it haunted me...well July 21st 2019 i changed my life..became sober....and became an advocate for people struggling with substance abuse and alcaholism... i live a very righteous life...and god has kept me...almost 3 years sober...i never got to show my dad my lifestyle changes and it hurts my heart...but i play this song and think of him....when i was little, we would listen to it... i thank the lord iam here today....

Been singing this since 2007, during mission conferences and youth camps. Our Pastor died last August 2021, he survived covid but left his lungs damaged. Forever thankful to God for bringing our family in the Lord, (from my grandparents). For sharing to us the Gospel and for giving his life, together with his family, in God's ministry. My mom taught Sunday school when I was young and gave at church. She had dementia and we knew she was going to be with the Lord soon. I played this song for her to say thank you and her eyes filled with tears. I am glad I shared it with her while she could still understand.

I love this song ao much. Just can picture my grandma worshipping and singing this song in her living room. Her telling me how much God loves to be praised and worshipped. I miss her so much and i just truly wish she could know how much i try to show and teach my son everything she taught me about god. Amen! I've been out nearly 22 years and I've never felt closer to my Father. Praying for each other is never a bad thing, however, if you're asking for some kind of personality change for someone else I feel that is judgement. Remember, it is supposed to be our Father God who cleanses us. Praying specifically for something like that seem to me that you're telling God he is not doing his job correctly. That is my own opinion, as a person who has been through it. I'm not the judge, the jury, or anyone of that authority. God gives me the authorization to be of help to others, to pray for them, and counsel them. He uses my body, mind, and heart to get through to people. That's the most important thing to me. However, if he was ever saved, he is still, for he is held in the palm of the hand of Jesus and His hand in the hand of the Father, and no man can pluck him out. This is such a beautiful song. My grandma would listen to it often as I was growing up. Now, as an adult listening to the song, the lyrics really touch my heart. My grandma passed in 2020 and I wish so very much I could tell her thank you for teaching me the word of God and installing his love into my heart now her teaching will continue with my son being taught now.

Once in my life the Devil dragged my down and was devoured with the things of the world. I had no excuse I know what I was doing was morally wrong and against Gods Commandements and his Holy word. I committed a crime and di about 1 year in prison. God never stopped loving me , I had to repent and turn my life to Jesus, t was a tough road but God Kept me His power and healing embraced me and I found a New Life in Jesus. Yes God forgives us but repentance is very importance, for every one. God Bless you Ray still praying for you,

My mother passed away April 1st, 1995. I was in Kindergarten. I don't have many memories of her but this was the first song I ever completely learned to sing and it was bc she sang it all the time. It also played at her funeral. So this song means a lot to me.

My mom died May 17, 2022. I am an ordained Southern Baptist preacher. Raised in the Assembly of God Pentecostal Church. So many of the lessons I learned from my precious mother, I didn't completely grasp them until after she passed away a couple years ago. I can still remember accepting Jesus Christ as my personal Savior in 1997 his was the first Christian concert I went to. It was a very moving experience as I felt the Holy Spirit moving as he sang.
My Father back in the 2000s would play this song almost everyday. It was a CD my Mother brought home. We would listen to this particular track again and again.
I was just a little girl back then unaware of Ways The Lord had used this song to speak to our family.
My Father and Brother are now in Heaven and I believe they’re singing again.

Same...i grew up in the church...my dad was an ordained minister...as i grew older my heart turned cold...i got into selling drugs...using drugs heavily and drinking. I was on a bender one christmas eve....i never slept. The next day ..Christmas day my dad passed away....i never got to say goodbye..it haunted me...well July 21st 2019 i changed my life..became sober....and became an advocate for people struggling with substance abuse and alcaholism... i live a very righteous life...and god has kept me...almost 3 years sober...i never got to show my dad my lifestyle changes and it hurts my heart...but i play this song and think of him....when i was little, we would listen to it... i thank the lord iam here today....

Been singing this since 2007, during mission conferences and youth camps. Our Pastor died last August 2021, he survived covid but left his lungs damaged. My mom taught Sunday school when I was young and gave at church. She had dementia and we knew she was going to be with the Lord soon. I played this song for her to say thank you and her eyes filled with tears. I am glad I shared it with her while she could still understand.

I miss her so much and i just truly wish she could know how much i try to show and teach my son everything she taught me about god. Amen! I've been out nearly 22 years and I've never felt closer to my Father. Praying for each other is never a bad thing, however, if you're asking for some kind of personality change for someone else I feel that is judgement. Remember, it is supposed to be our Father God who cleanses us. Praying specifically for something like that seem to me that you're telling God he is not doing his job correctly. That is my own opinion, as a person who has been through it. I'm not the judge, the jury, or anyone of that authority. God gives me the authorization to be of help to others, to pray for them, and counsel them. He uses my body, mind, and heart to get through to people. That's the most important thing to me. We definitely need to pray for this man. His songs have touched me many times and he blessed with a talent that he used for the lord. It's a shame that he fell into temptation. However, if he was ever saved, he is still, for he is held in the palm of the hand of Jesus and His hand in the hand of the Father, and no man can pluck him out. Let's pray he sees his sin before God takes his life and talent to heaven early.
Being gay is not "falling into temptation", your sexual orientation is yours from birth. Ray is STILL using his talent for the Lord.

Puberty wasn't exactly a walk in the park with my hormones screaming one thing and society saying another, but it did not change the fact that I was Gay.

This is such a beautiful song. My grandma would listen to it often as I was growing up. Now, as an adult listening to the song, the lyrics really touch my heart. My grandma passed in 2020 and I wish so very much I could tell her thank you for teaching me the word of God and installing his love into my heart now her teaching will continue with my son being taught now.

Ray's songs were what started me to go back to church. I sang all of his songs solo and in our choir at church. I to fell away from God and ended up in prison for 25 years. But when I got out I was estranged from my children, but when we started talking again Ray's songs were what brought us back together. And now I praise MY GOD that we get together and sing Ray's songs
