Ray, I got saved in 1993. Your songs inspired me. I sang these songs as specials in church. They are still powerful in the year 2023. Thank you for writing them. I know God used you to touch people like with me. I was 21 years old in 1993. Now I am 51.

I wrote That's What This Altar Is For in the summer of 1985. I wrote it about the night Charles Atkinson Sr came to Salvation. He was like a grandfather to me.
