I am trying to learn a little bit of Hungarian, as where my Rotary Club meets we have a Hungarian waitress serving us. By her own admission, her English isn't very good, so I wanted to surprise her by saying a few words in her own language.
Thanks to UA-cam I can say hello and ask her how she is, etc. My problem now is she thinks I am doing this because I am trying to chat her up - which isn't my intention at all. I just meant it as a friendly gesture. Ooops.

I appreciate the phrases so much, but sometimes I have to skip through a lot of these compilation videos because some parts are on my level and some are below.
Thx I have Hungarian heritage and I really want to visit there because it’s the most peaceful beautiful country in the world to me Idk it’s better version of Paris to me of cleaner areas
I have Hungarian and Polish heritage and would also love to visit Hungary as well as Poland.
Both seem much more peaceful and safe as compared to the USA where I now live and
western Europe. In fact, the big cities in both countries are becoming more
popular tourist destinations then the cities in the USA or western Europe.
I am hoping one days soon to visit HUngary. Problem is that I have a feeling
I will get there and not want to go back to the USA.

Yes, in Hungarian you would pronounce with /i/ sound as in /bit/.
