This is the newest addition to the P320 line-up., The subcompact rail with night sights.
I found out about this gun by accident and it doesn't seem there was any announcement or publicity for it. I was so excited when I found out about it a few months ago I had to order one. Unfortunately at the time nobody could help me get one. I even called Sig and they couldn't tell me anything about it. Well, i messaged a few people and was able to purchase one very close to me in Mesa, AZ at Black Rock Arms. This place is great, centrally located, great prices, and service! I highly recommend to anybody!
I show you the open box and compare it to the standard sub-compact and the compact.

The railed version presented here is the medium sized subcompact grip module. The non-railed version of the subcompact is the small sized grip module.

I'm glad you have this video. I have the full size 320 and love the ergos and trigger. I am thinking about switching to the 320 for my EDC and have been trying to decide if I should go with the subcompact or the compact version. The size comparison you did really helped me put them in perspective. I will probably go with the compact due to the grip size.
All Railed SC Grips are Medium and all Non-Railed SC Grips are Small.
I have the .40 version of this P320 in compact form. I also purchased the railed subcompact grip module to use with my compact slide. It only sticks out a little bit past the subcompact frame so it's not that bad looking. Love the gun.
Imo the P320 series are awesome, shoots great, reliable, and with all the size choices makes it a great edc choice. The sub compact is my choice, love it!
I absolutely agree! I wouldn’t carry anything else. Ive been carrying the p320 since july 2014 and I love it. I still carry this sub compact from this video to this day! Thank for commenting and watching!
@@TheRoninChronicle i run my sc 320 with a compact mag w/spacer, and use the 12 rounder as backup. This gives me the perfect setup!
My first go-round with this setup was with a P250 sc, loved that gun too but decided DA wasn’t what i really liked so i found me a used Stryker version. Took me awhile to find one but i ran across one the other day, now I’m good! 😂
Its nice to see a comparison between the compact and subcompacts. Looking forward to adding a Sig to my collection.

Can you describe the actual dimensional differences between the subcompact S-S and S-M modules?
u should do a video on the p320 mag comparisons specifically what works, I don't think 40/357 sig mags work with 9mm. and the different capacities just some examples

The rail version comes with the medium grip. The non-rail comes with the small grip.
I know this is an old video, but could you tell me if the scr fits in your compacts holster that you edc I noticed the trigger guards are different. Thanks!
GREAT video. So far yours is the only one I could find on the Sig P320 SC I just purchased today (with the rail, though I prefer one without--oh well!). Is there any way that you could do a take down/cleaning video for it? I'm just wondering your recommendations, and if I could see a slow paced take down/reassemble video. I don't always have my husband around when cleaning, and I'd like to get comfortable doing this on my own. Thanks!
Also, how do you find this performs at the range, (recoil, comfort, accuracy, etc.). I had an M & P shield before and wasn't too happy with it.
Thank you very much! I really appreciate it! This was my first gun video, I'm glad it has done so well. I read somewhere that if you order the Sub compact grip module in Small, then it will not have the rail on it. My wife also prefers no rail. However I really like it. I will do that, I will make a cleaning video as soon as I get some time to do so. I have a couple large projects coming up though so I'm not sure when but I certainly will. My newest video shows the takedown on the p320 full size, maybe that will help until then haha Thank you so much
why do you prefer it with/without the rails? I'm looking to change my frame from compact to subcompact and on the website they offer both, but i'm not sure what difference it'll make for me.
I was one in thinking that omitting the Rail on the Subcompact was a mistake. Glad to see the Rail on this size P320. Now, if we can only get the grip module in Earth Colors, Brown, Green etc., I would march down and get one today! Thanks for Sharing your Video and your links! JQP in Vegas!

Midway USA's website has the P320 grip modules for $40 in black, FDE and OD.

hey nice video and comparison on the compact and subcompact. do you think you could do a video showing how the 15 round and 21 round mags fit into the subcompact and how the 21 round mag fits into the compact? i'm curious to see how it looks and if it offers an extend grip feel. ty in advance.

I can probably do that as soon as I get some extra time. I did try it with my compact and it had a large gap. I wouldn't carry it in that manner but would be cool to keep as a backup spare for sure. I will try it at the range too to see if there are any feeding issues 👍😎

The Ronin Chronicle I am looking for a sig 320 scr but I keep hearing that the rail is to short for a light are you having that problem with the tlr-2 fitting on to it

Where and how did you get a rail grip module subcompact?? I have a the 320 9mm compact but even sc I've seen doesn't have a rail
Hey there, I actually bought the gun this way, I saw it on a private dealers website and had them order it for me last year when I made this video. The Ronin Chronicle Unfortunately these railed sc frames are unicorns lately, but with the release of Sig's Foxtrot1 WML (which is one of the few lights that will attach securely to the shorter rail) hopefully they will start to make these models more abundant.

how did you carry the compact model? I find it way to big to conceal?
i carry iwb in the 4-5 o'clock position. I have been carrying the subcompact lately because it conceals so much easier. I really like the way the compact feels in the hand. Just gotta go to the range and really decide which is better to shoot.

I noticed the lever was flat, I like that. I didnt notice till the other day though haha. would have been nice to know, but I had no info on this gun. I just found out there is a Tacops p320. Has threaded barrel, raised sights, and 21 round mags. But it isn't on Sig's website either. It here here tho :

I have a Subcompact Non-Railed Small Grip that is looking for a new home.
To answer my question below, the answer is yes! I called Sig and i can order the medium grip sub compact with rail grip frame and it will fit my compact p320. The mag will stick out a little but you can order the x-grip to go on the mag that solves this problem. So to summarize i know have a sub compact with rail p320 and a compact p320 for about $40 bucks! Also sig is out of stock on their web site but i found them on top gun supply.

You don't need to buy a new gun to get a rail or to not have one. The subcompact ships with the small grip module. The small grip module for the subcompact omits the rail. If you get the medium or large grip module it will come with a rail.

The cool thing is how well it shoots. All pistols get scratched up unless you just look at it.
