For 4 years i have just been rotating the engine by hand so it does not stick. Some day I have it running again. I don't know how many Volvo 264 -77 there is in Sweden but my guess is below 50 cars

Hi the engine has to be at top dead centre and when the distributor is intalled the rotor arm should be pointing at no1 cylinder, hope this helps
