The music is too loud, and it sounds like you’re trying to talk over it… Turn it down a bit and you wouldn’t sound as rushed when you’re giving us this great information!
I also carry my extra prescription glasses and all the daily contacts I’ll need, eye drops, breath mints, lip balm, my iPad along with all my chargers and cords, my prescription meds (and I have to take a lot). I keep them all in my backpack, just in case my carryon is gate checked, because the overhead bins are full. I loved your video!
Kim, I always travel with 2 pairs of undies, a t-shirt, maybe lightweight pants, 2 pairs of socks, cashmere or merino sweater, perferably button up. Keeps you warm. I also have a silk shawl that a sometimes pack or i have a large silk scarf (almost 4x4 fett) that I bring. Folds in next to nothing. Band-aids in different sizes (especially big ones), lubricating eye drops, Neosporin (small tube), something for elctrolytes, a couple of pairs of throw-away cheap mens' socks to wear over my good ones through TSA or if you are like me, you absolutely cannot sleep in shoes. Quart and gallon ziploc bags. Tall kitchen bags. A packable, folding shopping bag with a zipper. Because I have vision issues, I have to travel with different kinds of glasses. For actual air or car travel, Amazon has these 2 in 1 hard shell glasses cases. Not for big sunglasses though but super handy!! Extra reading glasses. Extra sunglasses. I don't know how folks travel carryon who wear contacts. Entertainment items, like you said. I also bring for my big headphones a 3/5 male to 3.5 male long cord so I can plug into the airline's 3.5 jack. I make sure I have a USB-C male to 3.5 female cord (or for apple folks, lightning male to 3.5 female). I also bring a USB spliter. So it's USB-A male to (usually) 4 USB-A females. I think they are making them now where it's A to C, but I'm not sure. Game changer! I'm kind of the Cord Queen, LOL!! If I'm traveling international, I have my pharmacist print out the labels for all my meds and/or I have him/her put my scripts in one of those super slim bottles. My husband likes to travel with his scripts bottles. I"m not that weird. I also keep a list of meds on my phone or tablet and paper copies as well. If I'm going on a cruise or I'm worried about storage, an over-the-door see-through shoe hanger. Game changer!!! Holds so much more than shoes! Hope this helps someone.
When you mention certain products that you love it would be great to provide a link directly in the description box. Also agree about the music, it is very distracting. I just found you and like your hints.
A tiny but important addition to your electronics kit is a data blocker. If you plug your phone or laptop via usb into a public charger, you could be downloading nasty viruses. A data blocker is a tiny gadget that has a male usb at one end and a female usb at the other end. Plug your phone into one end, the other end into the public source. In between is a wire that carries electricity, but no wire to carry data, so there is physically no way for a virus to crawl down the line to your phone or laptop. I also carry ear bud holders on a cord, so if I doze off and an earbud fall out of my ear it won’t get lost.
GREAT JOB KIM. IM A NURSE...I NEVER LEAVE HOME WITHOUT A BANDAID OR 2. AND PEPTO BISMAL TABS. (FOOD POISONING) AND ESSENTIAL OILS (TO KEEP MUSQITOES AND BUGS AWAY. 😂😂😂😂.
I'm glad you find them helpful! There is an exterior side pocket where you can put a water bottle or other items you want to be easier to grab. Here's the link to the backpack: amazon.rockporch.com/prdlink/P4z4eSHhKs
Yikes. Nuts tear me up lol. No nuts for me. Bringing the gum and some zucchini bread I made. First leg 45 minutes second leg 2 hours. I absolutely will not fill up at a drinking fountain or in a restroom though. I had a coworker that thought I was crazy for not using the drinking fountains at work so I finally did one day and guess what? I got the worst cold sore. I’ve ever had in my entire life and I didn’t even touch the metal. No more drinking fountains for me. Also, don’t lean against the window. There are so many germs because they really don’t clean the airplanes between flights. One thing I need to do is get some antibacterial wipes to take. The worst thing you can have is some kind of illness on your trip just because you worked extra careful.
Learned so much from your video! Question: where is the link to your "Download My Free Carry On Packing Guide"? I apologize - can't seem to find it. Thank you.🙂
I was planning on purchasing the 4 pack air tags, but learned on a you tube description that 30 ft was the max for these. Is this far enough for finding luggage?
You can find the links in the video description by clicking "...more" underneath the video. I've also shared them for you here: Samsonite Deluxe Backpack: amzn.to/477g2h4 Travelpro Luggage: amzn.to/3SQjx8k Neck Pillow: amzn.to/3H9TP8i Shop Lululemon: tidd.ly/3rthj34 Compression Socks: amzn.to/3GRpuKe Backup Battery: amzn.to/3iNiuGu Multi-Point Charger: amzn.to/3rznRxu Airtag: amzn.to/3t0TiRM EyeMask: amzn.to/3G8xOpc Collapsable Duffle: amzn.to/3R6OtzG
And then u put shoes back on those dirty socks. I use old or cheap socks and then dispose of them. Have clean ones for after I go through security. Or: the shoe covers used by doctors. TSA didn’t say anything
This is my first time watching your videos. I'm sorry but I'm like the others with the music. It's so loud it sounds like you are trying to over talk it.
Hi, can you show the suitcase properly when you’re holding? It’s not showing anything. You need to put it on the floor and take a video so we can see things much clearly please.
Thank you for the tip! Here's another video I did where I tested and showed different luggage to find the best ones: ua-cam.com/video/FWzB75om_rU/v-deo.html
Please reconsider your decision to carry nuts onboard. My son has a very serious nut allergy. Years ago airlines discontinued offering nuts to passengers. While you are allowed to carry nuts with you, you may be asked not to open them if the flight has been advised there is a passenger with an allergy onboard. There are so many alternative snacks you could eat. Sorry to be a downer, but my son has ended up in hospital too many times for me not to mention this to you.

Music is so annoying and distracting.
Lip balm, breath mints
Great essentials!

I didn’t know it was 30 feet. I think it is further than that.
I can see my AirTags across country.
I cannot find links to the products you talk about. HELP, please!
