Subject: Suggestions for Improving Scrolling Experience via Software Update I hope you're doing well. I wanted to share a couple of suggestions to enhance the scrolling experience on your devices, which could be implemented through a software update. The first suggestion is regarding the touch and scroll interaction. Currently, when we swipe on the screen, it stops rather abruptly. It would greatly improve the user experience if, with a light touch, the screen could glide smoothly and gradually come to a stop, instead of halting immediately. This would create a more fluid interaction, similar to how it feels on iOS devices, where the content continues to move for a while before gently slowing down and stopping on its own. Secondly, I believe adding a bounce-back effect at the end of scrollable content would significantly enhance the overall look and feel. This effect, combined with smooth transitions and animations, would make scrolling more engaging and polished, providing immediate feedback to the user without being too harsh or mechanical. Incorporating these features via a software update would elevate the scrolling experience and make interactions feel more refined and seamless. Looking forward to seeing these improvements in your future software updates.
Thanks for the comments lol. Apple has a strict patent on that bounce back effect. That's why we don't see it in other UIs. As for scrolling, the video was to test the animations on the phone. Software updates will need to come from the manufacturers.
Having both phones I have noticed something that nobody ever points out. I might be the only person who feels this way but with the 120hz screens, Androids in general feel way smother than iPhones. In-person side by side the iPhone feels like it's less than 90 hz actually...
Most Android Apps doesn't have any animations. That's where the problem lies. I was shocked when I've used the UA-cam app in iPhone. Going to full screen video and coming back animation is damn smooth. Google owns Android and still its iOS apps are better.
I will have to disagree with you on this. I spend my days watching UA-cam on both phones and UA-cam works a lot better on Android for me. Actually most Google apps work better on Android than iPhone. Gmail, Photos, UA-cam, Keep etc.
@@ABtwoPhones I am completely fine with your opinion. But in my experience, animations on apps like UA-cam, Gmail, Amazon etc., all of them work better on iPhone than an Android Phone. Keep is the same on both anyways. Edit: Photos app is bad on every Android phone in my experience. There's so much loading. No transitions between screens. I haven't tried a pixel, so it could be the only phone where Photos might work smoothly.
@@Vikash-Sivanesan Pros already have 120Hz LTPO panels since 13 Pro. Where are you? Let me clear your disliking, Android 120Hz are indeed smooth, but most apps don't have smooth animations and transitions which is what makes iOS 60Hz smooth than Android 120Hz. Animations are not just swiping home from an app. I hope you get it.

I could maybe put that at the end of the title. But I think what's more important is having the key words that people are actively searching for, in the title
I don't feel much of a difference from the video. Maybe can notice in real life. But till it's a accomplishment when your budget phone is compared with one of the most polished phone that costs ×4 🫡
Nothing can beat the ios smooth animations 🫢
...
yea nothing best
This is very useful information since we don't have reviewers doing scroll tests on Twitter or reddit.

In iphone there is scrolling limit so it's feel more smooth, but in nothing - speed scroll will get more down in page and slow scroll less page down.

Yes it does @@ABtwoPhones
@@ABtwoPhones do you think it has something to do with the locking in of 80hz refresh rate in iOS that's been seen recently ?
@@jigyansunanda Scrolling happens based on a mathematical formula. It has nothing to do with 80Hz lock in and all.
Waiting for December for 2a plus nothing 3.0
