I never knew that could happen! Wow, OG RE3 was way better than the remake that was shovelled out. Capcom really did RE3 dirty with that remake with all the cut content.
Yes, while Carlos is on his way to rescue T-Virus-infected Jill with the vaccine and after Nemesis jumps down from the second floor of the Clock Tower to the first-floor lobby, if Nemesis approaches the Chapel to break down the door, or if Carlos moves too far away, it will trigger a cutscene where Nemesis kills Jill by breaking in.

The remake was rushed and the sad part is they had about 20 years to make a good remake.
I mean the first RE game came out in 1996 then 6 years later in 2002 they remake it and there was no excuse that Capcom can make why it took 20 years for the other two games to get remakes if the first took 6 years to have a remake.
In the Remake we don't even have a clock tower lol

We did get the Clock Tower but not as a playable location like the original.
Wow, I never knew this before. RE3 original is absolutely a masterpeice. I wonder how many more secrets that we might still be missing even to this day.
There is some secrets I'm aware about the game but one of them never been posted online yet and wondering if it'll be posted someday.

That's actually quite a comical death animation. No surprise most haven't discovered this, the encounter is intense and the tendency is to take them seriously rather than play with Nemesis.
Nemesis and Mr X from the originals always got my heart pounding with mild panic, these games were well developed for what they were in their respective times.

it wasn't a secret ,back in the day I lost all the bullets and thought I have to fight nemesis but he got to her and saw this cutscene , good old days when companies cared about every little detail.
As much as I hated tank controls and the difficulty of these games, I'll always rate the originals higher than the remakes.

I was surprised when this happened to me first time, I thought I could just outrun Nemesis and direct him somewhere else, but as remake Carlos pointed out:
"He knows what he wants, and won't stop till he gets it"

Man, was there even a choice option in Resident evil 3 remake? Everything seemed scripted, I just wanted to get lost in the park while being chased by hunters.
Or trapped in the small corridors of the clock tower invested by spiders. Does any of the remakes even have spiders? Except the masterpiece of RE 1 remake.
And how dare they cut Barry Burton to the rescue in the end. He could have landed on Nicholai and that alone would have saved the game

This is "new" to people?? You can find this "secret death" scene in many death animation videos posted way older than this one here. I have to say though Capcom gave Carlos a huge (_!_) in that game. I use to enjoy watching him run in seeing it move even with the slightly pixelated graphics how accurate those movements would be. 🙂

Que novedad! , no imaginaba que Nemesis podía joder a Jill desde afuera de la Capilla, no es lógico, y que sus tentáculos no eran tan largos, hubiera sido más tétrico que Nemesis rompiera la puerta de la Capilla y entrara sin dar chance a Carlos de ayudarle, eso sí hubiera hecho temblar a todos, ya después dentro solo se escucharían los gritos de llanto de Jill, jajajajajajaja... pero que se puede hacer a estás alturas?, el juego ya está fuera del horno y ni que decir del Remake...

why is the nemesis the only one in 1998 version and remake that can enter a save room anyway why can't they all just come in a kill the player keep the fear factor going on professional mode your not safe until end credits.

I've seen this death scene from other RE3 death animation videos.
I feel like this death scene implies that RE3 was originally supposed to have the RE2 style death scenes where the character screams and blood splatters on the screen.
I knew if you failed to stop him he kill her but I never saw it happen. I figured he would if he kept breaking the door down. I never allowed it to happen.
