As a widow myself, I understand the “huge void” of which Her Majesty speaks. Philip may not have been king of his country, but he undoubtedly was the first and only true king of his queen’s heart.

Beautifully said my parents where together over 60 years until after a fight we as a family try to hold on to what mum and dad give us unfortunately due to covid this has made things difficult. My father turned 90 and once this has lifted we are going to have a family party. But God bless you and you will meet again.
When a spouse dies it is sometimes like a half of your body is gone that you’re operating with one leg and one arm a half a brain. Both crippling and sad it takes so long to get better

HRH Prince Phillip, you were the role model of my life. I respected you, beacuse you were a great husband to HM the Queen and also you were a great father. You were a great gentleman, who know how to live. How to respect to others privacies and how to love. Even he was always two steps behind his own loving wife, he never went publically and never criticize it. Never disgrace to HM the Queen and her family. Never. He loved her and her family. I had the honour of meeting Prince Philip once.. he was so lovely and down to earth. He visited my Grandad several times as he ran a school for disabled & disadvantaged children in Yorkshire. Grandad had nothing but positive, amazing, funny and cheeky.. both Prince Philip and my grandad could swear like troopers 😂.. things to say about HRH. He was an amazing man that will most certainly be missed.

at the end of the day, the royal family is a family like any other. they have disagreements and they may not speak to each other sometimes but i believe that moments like this can bring healing. i know all the kids will be supportive of the queen no doubt

I believed in one's speaking their mind, people may not like you, but you are at peace for speaking your mind. The Queen is a very accommodative, clam, never seen upset or angry in public.
