Copy. I've had it happen a few times where pebbles get jammed inside tiny egg weights. I don't recall sand in mine other than an after thought from the pebbles.
@@OfficeofthePacific Hope you’re still getting out and finding the piggy perch out there! Still watch your perch adventures regularly. Some amazing sessions.
@bb3866 I wish. I think it's been roughly 3 years since I last fished. Been working on a new music video and single coming out in October. Gonna do a video here and let folks know what I'm doing. Take care 👍👊
@@OfficeofthePacific Damn. Until last Saturday it was exactly 3 years since hit the surf. Got the itch really bad and I’m back at it. Heading out in a couple hours. Best of luck with the music video and single. If you ever want to hit the surf let me know. Your one dude that I always thought would be fun to fish with.
@@OfficeofthePacific thanks! I saw your recent video on catching jack smelts from the pier. Good idea to use the small Sabiki Hooks. I’m going to give it a try.
@@ht7560 I would use the smaller sabiki's on the Topsmelt, but if you are targeting Jacksmelt use the larger ones. Topsmelt are the baits I target for Halibut. They typically are from 2" to maybe 8" max. Jacksmelt on the other hand are a lot bigger, kind of like Mackeral size. I catch those sometimes for lobster or crab bait, but they are not the greatest for that as they are not very oily and their meat is really white. Hope that helps. I reached out to Ruben on the Top Notch San Crab Flies... I will reach out when he responds.
Great presentation! Height of work! liked it, loved it.watched till the end.God bless you always.go ahead my friend with your energy and dedication.welcome..
Blu, my pleasure. Trifecta Lite is technically a Saltwater rod for Salmon Steelhead etc., the Phenix adapter for surf fish. This is what I was told... I had to ask 😂🤣😝😭 I owned a fishing rod company for a short time, so I pretty much use mostly my own stuff. 👍👊
Thank you for recording this and releasing it.
My pleasure, Geomar. Thanks for watching.
I’ve never had sand stop my egg weight from sliding. Been using eggs for 40+years. Great video though, very informative

Perfect !! Time to catch some fish !!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Exactly my thoughts. Hopefully, they show up in our neck of the woods in December?
Great information and yes everyday is different so you never know what to expect!!
Thank you for the positive words 👍🙏
What are those Topnotch sand crabs Ruben's talking about 01:06? I can't find them on google.
Hi bud, Ruben field-tested those for the Top Notch company. To my knowledge, they are not on the market yet, but I will check for you.

The guy never responded to my message at Topnotch so apologies.
@@OfficeofthePacific Thanks for following up. It's been real windy in Northern CA, hard to fish in this kind of weather.
What’s the name of that 10 ft pole they had. ?
10' Phenix Trifecta Lite model TRL 1003ML-2. Check out West Coast Surf Fishing on Facebook. All these speakers came from there 👍👊

Wish I was there. When will they be hosting another?
Edgar, I wish you were too! Not sure when they'll do another, but hopefully soon 👍🙏
Great video, awesome to learn from these experts. Nice job filming it too brother!
Thank you so much. You are awesome 🙌
