Small Bathroom Renovation! DIY Full Custom Shower Using Schluter Kerdi Shower System

- We finally finish this bathroom renovation after days of demolition. We decided to build ourselves a custom stand up shower. We went with the Schluter Kerdi shower system to simplify the process and learned a lot about flooring and tiling along the way. We had to do a lot of plumbing work and repair since there was a damaged toilet flange, and for the stand up shower we converted the copper pipes to PEX using a bunch of sharkbite fittings. We ended up making custom brackets to work around the existing drain setup. Overall we were happy with the final look, stay tuned for the next video where we go over all of the details of this renovation.

Where did you buy custom size glass, glass door and shower pan.
You didnt have enough on the trowel at first. you gotta have a lot on there. I used schluter as well in my bathroom even did the heated floors its a great system you made a good choice. troweling just takes time. but yall did good trust me once you learn this stuff watch how fast you'll go on other projects like tiling kitchens and projects in the actual house.
We definitely started getting the hang of it toward the end. Their system is awesome, and saves a lot of time. Thanks for watching!
