don’t be disappointed about the door, it’s a good size and it looks great. from watching the video i’m not sure if the door may of hit the front of the toilet if it was any wider? $7500 isn’t so bad either. you really changed it for the better. well worth it. i watched you install that range hood vent in your kitchen, and at first i thought you were going to remodel the bathroom. looks great be happy !
I am so happy I found this video! We are purchasing a home and the bathroom has the exact same problem! We had the same idea to remove the closet or reduce its width. Thank you for your insight and price comparison. I also agree that the shower door being a bit wider would've given the shower a bigger feel but it is still a great improvement

Some people are totally fine in small spaces. You need to actually go inside the shower, move around in it, and see how long you can stay there. When I looked at my shower, I totally thought it looked fine size-wise, but when I walked inside it, I couldn't stay there more than a few minutes.

Adding a light in the shower helps with the dark feel
