I really appreciate the depth of information. You do a really thorough job of explaining drifting and the nuances. It's helpful to me as a beginner trying focus on the various things to keep in mind while trying to develop the proper muscle memory.

I never cross my hands while entering a drift or when drifting, but I almost all the time need to mildly cross my hands when I do a fast transition or when I try to save the car from straightening out otherwise my car just bounces really fast to the other direction where I'm supposed to go, if I don't cross my hands I don't have time to move the wheel and save the drift. 8:04 this is how it looks when I say mildly crossing my hands if that helps. Is it okay to cross like that or I should never ever cross my hands at any point?

in very very rare scenarios, but what you describe is something you do regularly in regular normal scenarios, so that means something is off.
I strongly recommend you to join my discord and tag in Drift Talk channel with more information and maybe upload a video as well.
I am working on a lot of drift settings for people to have available to them.

@@exoticmotorsportofficial I practiced a bit in the past two days and I rarely cross my arms now. The problem for me is that the wheel is too slow to recover when I need to counter, and when I try to flick the wheel sometimes it just stays in one place and I either spin out or my car flicks off to the other direction. I noticed it's because I need to work with acceleration more because when I do a good job with the acceleration the wheel flicks fine and the transitions through hairpins are satisfying, I just need to practice.
