Shocked to see how many bears you saw and how many others report them in videos. I've never encountered them and that was a good thing. This is caused by massive deforestations in Romania and by loss of habitat. It really is sad. And dangerous too, to humans but to the bears as well. They get shot if they are deemed dangerous and that's only because of humans. Never feed them. Years ago I hiked around there - imagine hiking now with them so close. People and bears used to stay away from each other. Really shocked and sad about this
You bring up a very good discussion. In one part of the story, the bears are gathered there because tourists feed them and we speak about how you should not feed the bears in this video. This does however bring tourism to the area, is this a good thing? I am not so sure. Maybe only for the local economy. We made this video to show the other reasons why Romania is a beautiful country to visit and to also not feed the bears.
Yeah, not criticising your vid. Just, as a Romanian, i was shocked because this didn't use to happen and it's not normal. And the romanian government should control deforestation and enforce relocation, protection of the habitat etc. Its clearly a complicated subject on what the solutions should be and i'm not trained for that. But it feels shocking, sad and disheartening. Your vid is great and thank you for saying those things in the vid.
