Wow, both the js Bach version and the catholic hymn version in one big song. Very pretty. And ave Maria, even if it is a catholic hymn. Has become another favorite gospel hymn besides the usual inspirational worship hymns. I love how this guy did it. Went from Bach, to the catholic version. God bless. And thank you.

Beide Werke sind absolute Meisterstücke und nie wieder in dieser majestätischen Anmut von anderen Komponisten erreicht worden. Bemerkenswert, dass ja beide von dem selben Gebet in lateinischer Sprache inspiriert sind, also faktisch den selben "Text" haben, und doch sind sie so unverwechselbar anders. Ich persönlich liebe die Adaption vom "Celtic Woman" Project (David Downes), gesungen von der jungen(15 j.) Chloe Agnew (beide Versionen). Das ist zum niederknien! ...leider kann wohl sonst schlechter Gesang selbst diese genialen Werke verleiden...aber letztlich ist das Geschmacksache, und zum Glück haben wir nicht alle den selben, sonst wäre diese Welt nicht so bunt..-.
